Vikings vs Chiefs game thread (1 Viewer)

I'm following the game at NFL.com -- what happened between O Smith's second and third TD's. The play by play looks like KC didn't get a play in...fumble on the kickoff? What?

Is there still any doubt that Randy Moss is the best WR in the NFL? What a monster. I'd take him over Harrison in a hearbeat. Good routes are nice, but with Moss you can pretty much just throw it long and assume that he'll catch it.

Obviously nobody told that to Charles Tillman last week

lol @ that stat they just flashed.Chiefs D giving up 200 yds rushing and 2 rushing TDs a game over the last 6 games.Yeah, they are gonna go deep into the playoffs.

Was Holmes even in there???
Nope. I think they had Preist in on the reverse play as a decoy....Didnt see him in after that play. The record will fall in KC next week in front of the home crowd.Cool.

I wouldn't mind if the Pats faced em!

Charles Tillman can think about that play when he's at home watching the playoffs on TV. Meanwhile Moss can think about what he's going to wear to the Pro Bowl as he's pulling down hail mary passes in the playoffs.

yea considering the pats dont even have a running game...LOL, they might actually get 75 yds on the chiefs...

THIS WAS A GREAT CHRISTMAS PRESENT.Thank you VIKINGS !!Thank you PEP !!and Thank YOU PRIEST !!VIKINGS see you next week in the Valley of the SUN !!

i don't get it...vikes def been ####in complete ####...so i get rid of them and they do this? even though the refs didnt help KC out at ALL...i have to say SCREW PRIEST....him trying for the record cost them the game basically...not enough passes....mostly all priest priest priest..that won't win #### but thanks Green..8 fckin pts from green..wtf!

The question about the Pats is the lack of ability to run the football. I know the Bucs were able to win it a year ago like that, but its still incredibly difficult to make it thru the playoffs like that. Even when the Patriots won the super bowl in 2001, Antowain Smith was a beast, bowling over guys, avreaging 4 ypc, and scoring 13 TDs.

Onterrio=starter next week.
As a Bennett owner, this actually wouldn't bother me a bit. Although I'd love to see Bennett get a shot at the Cardinals, the last thing I want to do is go through another 0 day from Bennett. So if Tice decides to go with Smith, I can at least bench Bennett without any worries and find a replacement who hopefully will get me some points. I'm still stunned the Vikings turned it into a rout so early. I really wonder what would've happened with Bennett if the game had been closer given how well he was running when he was in there. Oh well. Just gotta hope the rest of my team lights it up.

Father F-ing Holmes savlaging what was looking like a disasterous fantasy day!  Is he  the #1 in 2004 draft?
hell no he's not the #1 in the 2004 draft...I would take LT2 everyday of the week over is ars....and would seriously think about portis...yes portis...
My feelings on Clint are well known, but I don't know if I could pass the Priest up for him. I mean, he just keeps proving people wrong. I thought 2001 was an abberation, and only begrudgingly took him in the late 2nd/early 3rd of some drafts because of VBD, I was worried about the injury this year, but he is simply so consistently in position to score. If Marty leaves San Diego, I'd consider LT2, but until then, he has a fixed ceiling in my book, despite being the most physically talented back in the league(again, I love Clint, but lets see him do that behind the Charger o-line). If it came down to the three of them, you still have to favor Priest to have the biggest 2004. Deuce is a fine contender, but I"m worried about all the punishment he's taken this year. And KC is about 10 yars from making this a game. Could Holmes break Emmitt's record today? 2 more to go!
What are you talking about....LT2 not at numero uno...in our league he has...496 points and priest has 430 in third place...imagine if LT was on a good team like priest...it wouldn't even be close...hes on track for 90+ receptions and 1500 rushing yds...i wouldn't even think twice about taking LT2 #1
Priest has Tomlinson by about 50 points in my league(coming into today). We don't do receptions, so if your league does, I'd imagine he's more valuable. Touchdowns are the kings of my leagues, and there is little comparison between Priest and anyone else in that regard, including LT2.

As a Moss and Priest owner (and Bennett) it's nice to see that challenge bite **** in the butt. Hopefully he won't be so quick to take points away from my players!
