Trade rumors are rampant here in NY now. Most of them are completely bogus.... in fact, i've read where the Chargers will most likely keep both Rivers and Brees after this year. Rivers had the big hit in his first year, and it will cost around 15 mil to keep both next year, but they have the cap room for it. This contradicts things that people like Mortenson have predicted. I just don't see the Jets trading a marque D player for any QB. Edwards is a consevative D oriented coach. He has no clue offensively, see Vinny Testaverde.

As a huge Jet fan and a person who reads every NY paper, this is one of the most ridiculous trades i've ever seen.. Vilma is a NY Jet for life, he is calling their defensive plays and will be defensive captain.I don't see this at all..... now if you said Abraham, I'd listen
