From colts.com. I just copied the part of the article about Vinatieri:
“It's all about football again, starting today,” kicker Adam Vinatieri said as the AFC South-leading Colts (5-0) prepared to play the Washington Redskins (2-4) – a playoff team last season – at the RCA Dome Sunday at 4:15 p.m.
The Colts, who lead the South by two games over Jacksonville, will visit AFC West-leading Denver (4-1) and AFC East-leading New England (4-1) after the Redskins game.
As preparations for Washington began, Vinatieri was one of several players – a list that included safety Bob Sanders – nearing full health, and as such, was the focus when the media converged Monday afternoon on the Union Federal Football Center.
Vinatieri, the Colts’ most high-profile free agent, missed the last three games before the bye week with a right groin injury. The Colts signed kicker Martin Gramatica for those three games, but released him last week.
Vinatieri, the AFC’s Special Teams Player of the Week in Week 1, said Monday he expects to kick against the Redskins.
“I’m trying to do everything I can to get back on the field,” Vinatieri, a two-time Pro Bowl selection during 10 seasons with the New England Patriots, said, adding:
“I don’t know if anybody’s 100 percent (six games into the season). If you ask every single person in the league right now, they have bumps and bruises and things like that.
“I’m progressing along good enough that I think I’ll be on the field.”
