the links above are a couple of recent interviews with vince young....no doubt 2009 is the make or break season for vince young's nfl career.....he has regressed terribly the past two years and has shown flashes of immaturity beyond belief....the fact that the quarterback position requires of bank of good intelligence...i am just not really sure vince is really smart enough to ever mentally grasp the mental part of the game...... even if he scored a 16 on the wonderlic in 2006 and not the 6 as was reported.... that's still below average for an nfl player....much less the most cerebral spot on the roster.......add in the face he doesn't have the nfl arm to be a top flight qb....he doesn't read defenses very well....and has never really applied himself in fim study.....and i think he's way behind the 8-ball to ever be starter again in the nfl

so i simply predict the kerry starts all season.............young starts the season as the #2 out of jeff fisher political correctness but gets passed by ramsey into the season....i think the staff and management have privately given up on young......he'll play out the season on the roster...get cut in the offseason and will never see that huge bonus from the titans

It's really too bad, I really liked what he brought to the Titans in his rookie season, especially that long TD run in OT to win at Houston.

But in the end, he IS a QB and just can't make more then 1 or 2 reads and the passing game playbook is limited with VY in there.

Also, with Chris Johnson and Lendale White, they really don't need a mobile QB as much since those guys can do the running.

I though he had a good career ahead of him as a system guy who can lead a team to a winning record minus the sexy stats of a Top 10 guy.

The writing has been on the wall all along for Vince Young. He (as well as the Titans) just hasn't been able to read it until now.

You don't go out and sign a Chris Simms followed by a Patrick Ramsey if you have any hope for him at all, not to mention re-signing old man Collins and "promising" Collins the starting gig a season in advance.

Michael Vick has better odds of being on a roster in 2010 than Vince Young does.

IIRC Titans usually keep 2 QBs not 3-if it's a 3rd he's a PS guy.

When was Simms signed in relation to when Vince "lost it"?
