WR Vincent Jackson was released from an area hospital Tuesday night, and the Chargers are encouraged with his progress. He was hospitalized Saturday night after sustaining a chest contusion during the exhibition win over the Packers. "He is doing fine," coach Marty Schottenheimer said. "And our expectations are we will have him back working next week." Added Jackson: "I don't really have a time date. I'll just see how it goes. But there was no damage to the lung or anything like that." ...
