Waiver Wire & FAAB Discussion heading into the Week 7 games (1 Viewer)

If you miss out on the WW WRs this week, a sneaky name that's going to be a bigger deal in a week or three is Lions WR Tim Patrick. Would have put up 16 fantasy points in PPR yesterday if that TD wasn't overturned and he would have ended up on most Week 7 WW lists. Instead, this guy who's slowly growing into the Josh Reynolds role is flying under the radar. Can still get him for free, for now.

Devaughn Vele (deeper redraft)

Finally off IR and came back to 6 targets for 4-78. Nix seems to like him and you can do worse than a guy getting volume during bye weeks.

I tried to stock pile Douglas and Polk leading up to this week.

I think Douglas could be a solid WR3 with Maye under center. Maye can actually throw the ball, and someone has to catch it. I think Douglas is very underrated.

Agreed. Pop could be a very useful player in PPR leagues.

Can you see yourself actually starting one of them? The Patriots WRs don't seem all that attractive to me with a rookie QB and lousy team.

Possibly during byes and probably over Cooper at this point. With a new QB in Maye that seems like they're giving some latitude to chuck it and can use his legs to extend drives, could be a better offense than the stuck-in-the-mud one under Brissett.

I drafted him and was surprisingly cut by Denver, so I let him go. He should be a good bye-week fill-in with that offense.

Ray Davis was dropped in my FFPC SF league a couple weeks back. Definitely want to make a play for him. Is he worth 10% of FAAB? More?

Is Tucker worth the #1 waiver priority? Been holding onto it since the season started. I get the competition, but man he looked absolutely ELECTRIC Sunday.

I'm pretty sure I'll be starting Douglas a few places this week between byes, injuries, non-existence in the box scores, etc.

1 of my leagues now has Pacheco out, Olave concussed and Calvin Ridley has a terrible case of Will Levis.

Jordan Whittington

Most likely dropped since they had their bye. If Kupp is still out this week (which is highly likely), Whittington should keep that same role e had before the bye. He had 8 &10 targets for 6-62 and 7-89 weeks 4&5.
Have my eye on him. Could get him for free because his projections are so low. Most sites are currently projecting C. Kupp back so Whittington is pushed waaaaay down the WR list if sorting by projection.

Going JuJu first. Then if there's bad news on Kupp, I'll rush for Whittington.

In one league, somebody dropped J. Waddle. Jeesh.

It is weird that this season seems the worst in terms of injuries I can remember but I don't recall even attempting to spend any significant FAAB at all on anyone

Juedy's Value now with the trade?

Is he the number one receiving option now in Clev?

Should I queue him up on waivers?
Hard to see it, but maybe he'll return some value just out of sheer volume. My concern is that he had his big opportunity in Denver and never took advantage. Granted the QB situation was just as bad in Denver - if not worse - so you never know.

Someone that's more experienced with FAAB tell us what to bid.

How much FAAB on Douglas? I've seen everything from 5% to 20%. I think he'll be a solid WR3 rest of the way. Currently at 16%.

How much on Watson? I'm currently at 11%. The upside is certainly huge, but with Reed, Doubs, Wicks, he'll be sporadic. My 11% feels high.

How much on Sean Tucker? I'm not really feeling above like 5-6%. I love the talent but too many mouths to feed to break the bank.

How much on Ray Davis? I still think it's Cook's backfield, but is Cook back this week? Can I steal a start or 2 out of Davis?

Obviously hard to say in a vacuum depending on the size of the league, roster spots and the leaguemates themselves. Unless it's a pretty shallow league though, I doubt 5-6% would get it done for Tucker in most leagues. Definitely seems to be one of the flavors, if not the flavor, of the week.

Waddle has been plopped on my bench for weeks in hopes that the ghost of Tua shows up............otherwise, I don't blame them.

Mee too. The writing was on the wall without Tua.

Need a qb for this week only (hopefully) to cover Caleb Williams bye. I have Dalton vs Wash, but ARod vs Pitt and Herbert vs Arizona is out there. Are either better than Dalton this week?

D. Douglas - NE seems like the add for me.

Maye’s debut went well, and he seems more than capable.

I’m thinking 20% FAAB for him

I'm in the same situation with Caleb, although I do have A Richardson on the bench. I am considering putting in a 5% faab bid on Drake Maye. Looked decent fantasy-wise last week, and going up against the Jags is another tally mark in his pro column.

I like Vidal for a real cheap stash if he’s available in your league. Gus is already on IR, and the odds of Dobbins Lt. Dan legs exploding are always on the table.

Easy hold for a few weeks if you have room on a team that loves to run.
