Waiver Wire GEMS - week 3 edition (1 Viewer)

David Nelson, getting lots of targets thru 2 games and being productive.

Parker, Benn, Briscoe...I think this is still working itself out.

Helu...this is my target, he was dropped last week, I wanted to grab him but Collie was the drop and I decided to wait. Hopefully his will still be there this week.

Fred Davis, another I contemplated last week, he will not be there next week.

Decker, probably too late except in shallow leagues. I grabbed him last week in both leagues.

D Moore, may be there, if he is, this is the WR target. Should have earned the starting spot after this weekend

KC RBs. dont know who good luck figuring it out. McCluster is a WR in my leagues

Sittin on the 1st waiver and I don't see anyone worthy

Decker is there but I don't think he is worth the 1st waiver

So is Fred Davis but with so many TEs performing I don't think he is worth it ... Though I do somehow have the worst TE in the League ... Vernon Davis ?

Maybe Vince young for a week or two

Must be a shallow league.Hard to believe you couldn't jam either one of thoseplayers onto your roster.

I'm guessing Decker, Denarious Moore and David Nelson will be the hottest WW pickups this week. RotoWorld just posted that Eddie Royal's groin injury may be serious. If that's the case, I think Decker is the top pickup over Moore and Nelson. I like all three but Decker is the one guy who clearly would be a starter. Moore could start but Al Davis just loves Heyward-Bey so who knows. Nelson is the No. 3 WR in Buffalo.

I like Moore a lot too. I just don't know what Al Davis might be thinking.

McCluster is only owned in ~ 25% of leagues, and could be the waiver wire pickup of the season.
KC is horrible. I have trouble believing a 170 lb scatback is going to help this team get more points than Charles would have. I say let others take the chance on anyone from KC and get the gems like Decker, Moore and Nelson.

I agree that it is hard to see McCluster helping KC more than Charles. However, in PPR I can easily see McCluster helping fantasy owners more than Charles. I would definitely pick him up in PPR.

You are right there. He will be a much better prospect in PPR. I don't play in any so my outlook is very biased. I just get the feeling that scoring TD's in KC this year will be like your chances of seeing Bigfoot or the Loch Ness monster, not likely to happen.

They may be horrible, but SOMEONE has to score. They're not going to get shut out everyweek. And obviously you can't equate McCluster to Charles, but he can step right into that role and the offense doesn't have to change, as he's a similar player style wise.

I believe they will get shut out every week.

Would anyone here value Moore or Decker over Meachem?
personally, I hate NO wr's. I would definitely prefer someone who has the chance of being the focus of the receiving offense as opposed to 1 of 7 potential targets, each of which get 3-57.

Definitely over meachem....i think its a push with decker...raiders arent usually as pass happy although john fox also tends to run more often than most...

Sneaky get him before he explodes could be Victor Cruz... with Mario having conky problems, it is not a long shot that he ends up with the #2 slot across Nicks for a good number of weeks.

For a $1 blind bid he is a good shot in the dark

Cruz has his own issues to work out, he has been far from impressive this year. If he puts it together he could have value but from what I've heard it looks like Manningham will miss a week at most.

I am not trying to be one of those guys but I think my strategy this week is going to be to see who gets dumped by some panicky owner. I am low on the waiver wire and don't see me getting any of the guys available out there that are being mentioned.

I had him below Decker on my WW move this week, but after watching that, I'm convinced to move him to the top. Those are high level WR skills. The route running, the hands, his awareness... the Raiders would be idiots not to put this guy in the starting lineup every week.

I had the #3 priority this week and went with the order of Decker, Nelson & Moore... in the end I got lucky and got both Nelson & Moore this morning so I am elated! I was really torn over Decker vs Nelson, I think Decker is the better talent but Nelson has already been more involved in the offense going back to late last season, has the better QB and with Parish on IR and Stevie nursing a groin injury Nelson should continue to shine.Moore showed unbelievable skills in that game but I, like everyone else question what the Raiders will do! From the FBG rankings it appears that they think it is Nelson..Decker.............Moore

If those rankings are for this week, then it makes perfect sense. I like Moore best, but I'd rank them in roughly that order since Moore might draw Revis.
