Waiver Wire (1 Viewer)

Hi all,

12 team, 0.5 PPR league. QB, 3WR, 2 RB, 1 TE, 1 FLX. The waiver wire is usually pretty empty and I have the #2 priority right now bc of draft position. I usually try to save my high waiver position to scoop up an RB in an injury situation, but my WR need is stronger this year than RB. My question is, with my roster, is it worth spending my #2 waiver on one of these folks or should I hold off for more of a sure thing?

I'm planning on swapping out Jeff Wilson for someone regardless, but can just wait until FA after waivers so can wait to see if any of these guys get through, but doubt most of them will be available.

QB - Patrick Mahomes
WR - Garrett Wilson, Terry McLaurin, Khalil Shakir, Deandre Hopkins, Adam Thielen
RB - Derrick Henry, James Cook, Devin Singletary, Bucky Irving, Jonathan Brooks, Jeff Wilson
TE - Brock Bowers, Dalton Kincaid
K - Jake Elliot
DEF - San Francisco

Waiver Options
WR - Quentin Johnston
WR - Alex Pierce
RB - KC (Steele/Perine/Hunt)
RB - Braelon Allen

Don't go chasing The Dragon with Johnston
Pierce will get less targets with Downs back as soon as this week
Stay away from any RBBC especially K.C.
I'd grab Allen and drop Wilson

You need WR help. While QJ hasn't been great in his short time in the league he does seem to be productive so far this year. The Chargers don't have a lot of pass catchers and he seems to be Herbert's target at the moment. I have no issue getting him to see if it continues. Also picking up Pierce isn't the greatest but so far he seems to be part of Richardson's looks. You don't need RB help nearly as much as WR help. I take a chance on the two WR's and see what happens.
