Waiver WR's used as Starting WR 3's (1 Viewer)

Bryant Johnson DET.

He gets the targets, figuring they will be down allot, Calvin double teamed.

Who else should us less fortunate teams with 3 good wr's do?

I think you mean without, right?

In one .5PPR league I have Jennings on a bye and have to find a running mate for Roddy at my 2nd WR: Royal, Nicks, Bryant. These choices are not that good. I'm actually thinking Nicks as Asomugha may blanket Smith and maybe Nicks can unseat Manningham for more looks, plus Boss is out, Hixon could be back but I doubt they want to see much further there. Nicks could be a good WR3 in this one. Nicks should at least start to get more passes his way now that he's back 100% healthy and showed the flash off one pass alone.

I traded for Jennings after, but it's strange my top 2 WRs were Roddy and Royal and I'm in last place....hmmm!

Austin Collie as INDvsTEN pas D makes him a nice strt here.I'm sure Mo Mass (CLE) is gone but had to add vs BUF with Braylon now gone he will get evenmore targets..

I picked up Collie, but wondering if Maclin could be a sneaky one-week play. He's starting opposite DJackson, and could put up some numbers vs. the Bucs.

Garcon is more explosive, but Collie catches everything thrown his way. There isn't a better way to gain Peyton's confidence.

In PPR, Mike Furrey might be a decent bye-week replacement for a WR3, and someone that should be available on most WW's (unlike some of these mentioned). He's got 4 catches in 3 out of 4 games, and throw out the Denver game and he has been targeted 20 times the other 3 games (7, 6 and 7 targets), and now Edwards is gone. I'm hoping his targets/receptions will jump a couple. 6 for 50 yds would be cool.

:hifive:  for not following my own advice. He's gonna be the top waiver pickup next week.

And then again, maybe not :headbang:
