Wali Lundy Trade Value (1 Viewer)

I don't want to make this a "Is This A Good Trade" thread but I can tell you I need WR help, don't necessarily need Lundy but passed on Bernard Berrian for him recently.

I'd say Lundy's hold on the job is fairly solid right now and I'd be hard-pressed to deal him for anyone who's trend seems to be headed downward. Look for guys whose numbers might not yet be where they should be but who are traditional second half performers or guys who seem to be waking up. At least someone your gut tells you is on the uptick, otherwise I'd hold and hope for the best.

I do think the majority out there has a hard time trusting Wali to maintain his two week momentum.

HTH

"U"

haven't had anyone inquire about him in my 14-team redraft (no ppr).

If he does well these next three weeks (NYG, Jax and Buf), his value will sky rocket as Houston really only has NE after that. @NYJ, @Oak, Ten, @NE, Ind, Cle.

I have him on the block for a "good WR" in my league and no nibbles, but the "on the block" feature rarely draws and interest in my experience.

tried offering Lundy, Dom Davis and Mason in 3 separate deals for Wayne, then tried for Housh and then tried for A. Johnson and all were rejected. (not really surprised, but nothing ventured, nothing gained...). A Johnson owner countered with Lundy and Jennings for AJo (still considering it, but hate to give up Jennings).

probably will try to make a similar offer to get someone like Walker, DJax or Colston next.

i just traded brady(i have brees also) for lundy, i have westy, d foster, l washington on bye, i was dead at rb,,i have to start lundy and m moore or norwood this week... :wall:

I traded Lundy and Maurice Drew for McGahee and G Jennings. I like Buff's 2nd half run schedule and Jennings late season schedule.

This is a huge week for Lundy owners...

If he can do well against the Giants D, then his value surely becomes solid and not just a fluke. While he had a very nice game vs. Jac, it can always be a weekly miracle, but if he puts up good numbers this week, (like i think he will) then look for people who are in need of RB depth to come looking. Especially with the trade deadline in most leagues coming soon.

But hold him for now...his value isnt high enough to get anything right now....and his potential is huge.

I attempted to trade D. Foster and M. Bell for Lundy and Carr, rejected twice in two weeks -- amazing

ppr dynasty traded lundy for Antonio Bryant and a 4th rounder, thought it was a pretty fair deal. Wanted to dump lundy at a high point. After this weeks game at NYG his value will go down again.

OK, complicated, but in a keep-4 league...

Gave: Lundy, LWashington, MHarrison

Got: Portis (just after his injury was announced), Vick

I wouldn't have kept any of my players. I needed a QB. Portis I'll keep.

I like Lundy (and Washington), but always believed that trading away risks for sure things was smart.

i made a trade that involved giving up lundy wefore week 8 in a 12 team-dynasty

GAVE: Lundy, Dunn, Alex SMith (QB), Drew Bennett

GOT: LJ, M.Bell, Romo, Colbert

looked fair before week 8 now i think i robbed him

I think I agree with this. His value is not sufficiently high yet that I would be all that interested in what I got in return (unless some sucker comes along). I like his prospective value as much as anyone's, so I say he is a HOLD.

Wow. Did you at least give the other owner the courtesy of a reach around?

Agreed.I wouldn't trade LJ for Lundy, Dunn, Smith, Bennett, Bell, Romo, Colbert.
the crazy thing was there was no negotiation.. i woke up one morning and he offered it to me and i just about $h!t myself. so i came on FBG's to make sure LJ didn't die in some late night car wreck or something crzy like that and hit accept as fast as i could.

i've got lundy on the block and looking for a WR. rejected seperate offers of santana moss, matt jones and reggie brown along with assorted picks. hoping for another good week from wali to knock his value up.

So after a subpar week against the NYG, will this guy yield any value at the trade deadline? Or is he a hold for next year?

Hows this for value (avg yds per game ranking):10: @ Jax (11th)11: Buffalo (19th)12: @ NYJ (30th)13: @ Oak (27th)14: Ten (31st)15: @ NE (3rd)16: Indy (32nd)Throw New England out of there and thats one hell of a stretch of shoddy run defenses.

That sked is the reason I'm holding on to Lundy. Assuming he remains starter and gets the reps (prob. only positive from NYG game is that he got a ton of carries despite not doing much with them, which tells me coaching staff think he is "their guy") he should be a very nice RB2 going forward.I'm thinking for teams with a week 16 SB, if you get there, that Indy matchup could be gold. You gotta figure at that point there is a good chance Indy is not playing for anything and Lundy will just run all over them.

Just traded Brian Greise for Lundy. Kind of a unique situation, though -- the Lundy owner is prepping his solid team for the postseason, and was using his 4th RB to handcuff a struggling Grossman. Just in case.

Nice - you got a steal, Doug.

Fell into my lap ... the guy asked what it would take to get Greise from me. I responded that I was unhappy with D Rhodes and R Bush as my main RBs behind LT ... so I said any one of his back-up RBs would get it done (Warrick Dunn, Leon Washington, and Lundy).I expected him to offer maybe a 2-for-2 type deal to even out the value ... instead, he offered Lundy for Greise straight up. It's a clear case of differing perceptions of value -- this guy was riding a hot Grossman all through the first 5 or 6 weeks. Recent bad performances have spooked him on Grossman. As for Lundy ... for this other owner, Lundy was a bye-week filler that may well return to early-season suckitude. So it was perceived as a deep-backup-for-deep-backup deal.

i'm floored. i can't believe some of these trades. i can't move the guy for a dirty gym sock.

I just traded Lundy and T. Glenn for Ronnie Brown. I kind of feel bad now because I didn't have knowledge of Glenn being held out of practice a couple of times this week.

It's a package deal, but figured I'd add it since the thread asked.

I traded Kitna, Lundy and Lee Evans for Tiki and Leinart.

Lundy and Evans were always tossups for my flex...now it's no problem with Tiki.

Bulger is my starting QB. Hope he stays healthy.

I just tried to grab Lundy and offered Deion Branch. I was shot down and the owner asked for Driver. I told him no way in hell, and offered Branch & Henry. Shot down again, so I traded Branch for Jordan with another owner instead.

In our league he must be valued somewhere in between Driver and Branch.

Lundy's value = Gado's value circa 2005.

Take what you can get for him in keeper/dynasty leagues.

Redraft value is fickle since Gado/Dayne could be the weekly starter at the drop of a hat.

As fast as Lundy took the starters job, he lost it just as fast earlier in the year.

In a salary cap league where you can keep an unlimited number of players, whose salaries increase by 25% each year and are signed to 3 year contracts:

I traded Lundy, Dom Davis and Vikings DST for Plaxico Burress.

I needed help at WR and Lundy was my #4 RB behind LT, KJo and Addai. The other owner is pretty much out of the playoff race and looking to build for next year. He also needed help at DST and Lundy and Davis' combined salary was about half of Plax's.
