I would dump Garcon for Caddy only if you need a week two starter. Otherwise, you have a good team and i would hold tight

Hey Jeff, thanks for lending your help!

This is for the league and team in my sig. Wondering what moves I should be making, if any this week.

These are the guys available that I would be considering grabbing. Which are worth it and who would you drop to get them? Generally I try not to over react to a single week, but don't want to miss out on anything either!

QBs: Newton, Fitzpatrick, Henne

WRs: Doucet, Henderson, Baldwin, Meachem, Gaffney, Hartline, Massaquoi

RBs: BTate, Sproles, Starks, CWilliams, Woodhead

TEs: Chandler, Gronkowski, Keller, Gresham, FDavis, Watson

The biggest concern I have I think is Bradford. Not only is his hand a bit of a concern, but he has the same bye week as Romo, so I will need a Week 5 QB regardless. Do I dump him and try my luck with Newton? Also, is it worth taking a flyer on any of the WR, RB, or TEs over what I currently have? I wouldn't mind grabbing Gronkowski, but he would have the same bye as VDavis. Thanks for all your help!

EDIT: Sproles, Meachem, Starks, Newton, and Gronkowski all ended up getting claimed on waivers. Do you see any worthwhile free agent pickups worth making still?

Im having trouble deciding on my QB and second running back this week.

Roethlisberger vs. SEA

or

Flacco vs. TEN

Turner vs. PHI

or

Best vs. KC

I was all set to start Flacco last week, and then way over thought the whole thing and let every standard ranking change my mind at the last second and I'm afraid of getting burned by Roethisberger again. Especially since im in the minority who believes Flacco will have a monster season. But Seattle is Seattle, and its hard for me not to think that Big Ben at home, could have a huge comeback game.

As far a RB's go, Best was one of my Keepers since, much like Flacco I believe he produces quite well this season. But looking at the Results from Sunday, PHI gave up 56 and 91 yrds to two seperate Runningbacks, and KC have up 100+ to Fred Jackson. Should I be worried about playing Turner against PHI if they end up behind? The fact that they cut his carries against the bears scares me, but seeing him ranked higher than best in most rankings makes me second guess my usually easy decision to just play Best.

I actually like your starters this week, but may consider dumping Ringer for Caddy (and possibly start him), Tate, or Jacoby Jones. Jackson being out will give you another option this week if you get caddy

How do I determine how much $$ to spend on them? I have never played in a league with that waiver system before.

since none are impactful starters for you, I would not spend much ... but may take a chance with <5% on Tate or Caddy and try to hit a home run. If you miss out, no big deal. Neither is worth a ton so I would save and not spend too much. There will be great pickups later in season

Foster's owner spent 21% on Ben Tate, and in the process dropped Jonathan Stewart. Should I pick him up and drop Ringer/Ford?

This is a question for a dynasty league with Non-ppr standard scoring.

Normally I start 3 WR's but a person can start as many as 4 WR's. I'm real deep at RB so every week I will be starting 3 WR's. My top 3 RB's are Darren McFadden, Ray Rice, & Matt Forte.

Hypothetically speaking:

If you had a chance to get the 1st or 2nd pick in the 2012 rookie draft would you trade one of these 2 WR's to get that pick: 1) Mike Wallace WR PIT or 2) Steve Johnson WR BUF. Also besides the pick I can probably get Arrelious Been, Vincent Brown, Austin Collie, Torrey Smith, or Devery Henderson. If you think it would be a good trade which of those wr's should I target to go with the pick?

I would dump Bess and Bradford for Starks and Tate ... just to see what the next couple of weeks look like. Then, drop one for a QB2.

definitely. His dropping was an overreaction to week one. I would drop Ringer

Roberts at WAS

I'm facing a stronger team, so I'd like to go for big-play upside here rather than the safest play. Henderson can obviously be a burner but Chicago is a tough matchup for the Saints. Brown has the upside, but the game could be a blowout quick. Roberts could get a lot of work against a shaky Redskins secondary.

Any vibes?

Would you try to trade F.Jackson for Britt or Tolbert for Stevie Johnson if your other backs were Gore, Forte, Jacobs and your only WRs were V.Jax and Manningham (only start 2 WRs)? I figure I need another top 15 WR. The potential trading partner also had Steve Smith (Car) and Plex.

I picked up Jerome Harrison bc of the fragile Mr Best, so do you think that MJD may go down first or just that out of the 2 Deji Karim is a better talent than Jerome Harrison? I can't believe I drafted Blount and he rides the bench!

I played the Arizona Cards last week against Cam Newtons crazy numbers and they still posted amazing Defensive numbers!

Do I stay with the Cards again this week at WASH or pick up the SAINTS (Plus the pts for Sproles return yds) at home vs the Bears?

Aj a given for one Wr and I have:Holmes, Britt, Harvin to play other wr position plus can play one more in the flex. I know Britt and Holmes both have nice matchups. So I can play combo of 3rb's or 3wr with 2rbs.

I also wanted to know what you think of Newton after last week. I stashed him in one league ....dropped in another, but he's one of those athletes that don't come along very often. He Burned my Crimson Tide last year in the second half.......I just know weird things happen in fantasy football when you have speed. Several years ago Moss and Cullpepper lit it up if I recall as rookies.

Digging deep already due to injuries.Need 1 WR in PPR:Henderson vs. CHIA.Brown vs. SEARoberts at WASI'm facing a stronger team, so I'd like to go for big-play upside here rather than the safest play. Henderson can obviously be a burner but Chicago is a tough matchup for the Saints. Brown has the upside, but the game could be a blowout quick. Roberts could get a lot of work against a shaky Redskins secondary.Any vibes?

I think you roll with Henderson. I read today how Brown is struggling with route running. Roberts vs Was is not any better of a matchup than Henderson so might as well swing for the fences

I'm heavy on RBs but low on WRs. Would you try to trade F.Jackson for Britt or Tolbert for Stevie Johnson if your other backs were Gore, Forte, Jacobs and your only WRs were V.Jax and Manningham (only start 2 WRs)? I figure I need another top 15 WR. The potential trading partner also had Steve Smith (Car) and Plex. TIA

Definitely do the FJax for Britt deal ... and I would pass on the Tolbert fo Sevie deal

Regarding Newton I like him in keeper/dynasty and avoid him in redraft. I like the Fitzpatricks of the NFL more. Hard to rely on a rookie QB. Gore, Felix, Hightower at RB/FlexAt the WR2 spot, I think I would lean toward Holmes since the jets have a great matchup and will expose him to the Jax def that gave up huge game to britt last weekGood luck

Since it is a redraft, I would try to package two young guys (that most overvalue in fantasy) Cobb and D Moore (or Roberts) for Julio or both and Thomas for M Williams. You can always pick up flyers off the wire so upgrade starters.
