Hi Jeff, I thought I'd get a final opinion from you. Championship game…I'm stoked!A question for you about week 16 Defenses.I have Baltimore, and they have have been great lately. Earlier in the year I played matchups a few times with mixed results. If I've crunched the numbers correctly, here at the two options I'm considering for the week 16 championship game.Baltimore at Dallas – I love Baltimore D, Romo is a bit gimpy, but game in Dallas. Over last 4 games, Balt D has averaged about 18 fantasy points against Phil, Wash, Pitt, Cinc, three of which are fairly stout D's. The Defenses (SF, Sea, Pitt, NYG) playing Dallas have scored only about 8 fantasy points per week, but I feel that was skewed by the 1 and 2 points scored by the woeful SF and Seattle Defenses. Pitt got 23 against Dallas, and the Giants 7. So even though a tough matchup, I like this one the best.Cleveland v Cincinnati – Cleveland D is rated fairly highly this week at home against Cincy. Cleveland D has scored about 12 fantasy points a week against Hous, Ind, Ten, Phil, so surprisingly not too bad. Some pretty good Defenses (Pitt, Balt, Ind, Wash) against Cincy have scored about 14 fantasy points per week this last month. An intriguing matchup. So what do you think? Stick with the solid defense even though a tough matchup? Or take a flyer on a potentially good week by Cleveland? My instincts tell me that I should go with Baltimore, since they really are my stud Defense. If I did lose because of this choice, I could live with it because it was a sound choice. If I try the Hail Mary, I'd be a rock star if I connect, but if I don't, I not only lose, but feel like I gave it away by going away from my best option. So I think I've convinced myself! But I have enjoyed your perspective on things, so thought I'd give you one more conundrum to consider! Thanks for a fun season, and some wonderful insights!12 person redraft, NO PPR, 1 point/25 yards passing, 4pts/passing TD, 1pt/10 yards rushing or receiving, 6pts/TD.
