Think outside of the box. Not a TE mandatory league, but most non-scrub WR's are taken'. Guys like Caldwell are out there. But lots of TE's. Watson, Witten, etc. Thinking with S Moss iffy Cooley might be a sneaky play vs. the Cowboys at home. Come correct my FBG brethren!

i love the way Romo looked for Witten. I expect that to continue. Also, if Moss is out, maybe the play would be ARE in Wash vs Dal. Also, Booker might have been forgotten. He had a great game before the bye, but it was with Joey throwing a ton of times.

If you have to dig real deep at WR here are some guys who could deliver this week:

Michael Jenkins

Reche Caldwell

Kevin Curtis

Peerless Price

Eric Parker

Santonio Holmes

Samie Parker

And if you really feel like gambling:

Jerry Porter

I'll add Roscoe Parrish. As a Packer fan  it seems Harris and Woodson do a pretty decent job on the 1/2 WR's. It's the 3rd donk that kills us, IMO.

David Martin, #2 TE, Packers. He's finally healthy and Martin will continue to see an uptick in targets simply because Bubba sucks between the 20's and there isn't much to throw to in Green Bay with all the injuries.

Travis Taylor vs SF. How often can you pick up a team's #1 WR vs the worst defense in football?
Not sure that is an accurate assessment of TTaylor.Williamson has more targets, more third down looks, similar YPC, and WAY WAY more targets when the team is trailing. And he was more heavily targeted and had better numbers on MNF.That said, Taylor's a good pick up if Williamson is unavailable.

P.S. - TT and TW are 22 versus 21 targets when tied or leading close - that indicates neither is the really the "#1" receiver - they are equally used when the game is going as planned.

When the team is trailing by either a little or a lot, they go to Williamson

And they play the Niners this week .... so choose Williamson

Why? They'll be trailing in the game rather than leading ir close?

sorry, if not obvious above: :sarcasm:

Well, wannabee, I actually foresee a shootout, so an owner is probably taking an equal risk with either receiver as a one-week sub.

I was going to say Troy Brown vs INDY.

Brady has thrown for 265 or more in the last two meetings and added 3 TDs in each meeting.

Troy Brown is just the savy vet to take advantage of a Cover 2 D'
