Warber Updates anyone (1 Viewer)

The initial Monday perspective was torn ligament in left elbow. Views ranged from IR (done for year), to possibly back for Week 9 after the AZ bye. While my gut leans towards the former over the latter scenario, I was expecting some new info on this. He was to have had an MRI already, not sure how those results would weight into the forecast given it is "known" that the ligament is torn.

I am sure that Warner is occupying some scarce roster slots on many FF rosters that perhaps could be put to better use.

Any Arizona insight appreciated.

I don't think Warber is going to do much for the Cardinals this season.

Warner I thought was only expected to miss one game...I'll find the other thread. No real information in the other Warner threads I found and Texican gave us all an update below.

Oct 16 Updating previous reports, Darren Urban, of AZCardinals.com, reports Arizona Cardinals QB Kurt Warner (elbow) had an MRI, and the results revealed that Warner has torn ligaments in his left elbow. However, he does not need surgery and is expected to make an attempt to practice this week.

An MRI taken Monday showed that Cardinals QB Kurt Warner has a ligament tear in left elbow, but it will not require surgery.

The injury is expected to heal on its own, but no word yet on how long Warner will be out, though he said he may miss little action with the Cardinals bye coming in Week 8. Tim Rattay will have a tough matchup in the start against the Redskins and the Cardinals added depth by signing QB Tim Hasselbeck. Oct. 16 - 2:38 pm et

Hmm, sounds like hanging onto him if you can afford to do so (at least for now) is the way to go
