It was the wrong call, but what a great consolation. It isn't like the Pats taking Bethel Johnson when Anquan Boldin was on the board. Dallas got a great player and had a sound draft. Merriman was the better pick between to similar outstanding 3-4 OLBs.

The guy that brought this up doesn't play FF. I'm starting to figure out that FF players, even gups like me, know a hell of a lot more than the average fan.

Ware is going to be a very good player for alot of years, but Merriman is special. He reminds you of another 56.

Well, I'll join the most popular opinion and say Merriman would have been a better choice than Ware.

Merriman is a beast while Ware is a very special player but not really in the Class of "lights out".
