McCoy is a very tricky RB to properly value. He gets decent/good volume, but he's on a mediocre offense with no other real weapons. They just got Benjamin, who should help relieve some of Shady's pressure but he's got to have time to build some chemistry with Taylor and learn the offense, so who knows if that'll happen next week or in Week 14. But Shady is also prone to games like last night - 12 for 25. Only 12 carries because they were playing from behind the whole game...IMO he's too inconsistent to be a top end RB1...he's more of a low RB1/high RB2, but with a wide gap between floor and ceiling. Some weeks are 12 for 25, some are 120 yds with 2 TDs. Maddening to own.
How big is this league? You said if Wentz gets hurt you have nothing at QB...is there literally nothing on the wire? Or just the Flacco/Beathard/Bortles types? Also gotta think about, getting 3 players for 1 means you're going to have to drop two. Who do you drop? Would it be better to have one of those players over Rivers?
IMO Hyde + Jeffery for McCoy is a fair offer, and one that if you are truly stacked at WR should probably benefit you in the long run. I'm not a big Hyde guy though, so I'd say yes to the deal, but I might leave Rivers out of it if those pieces you'd be dropping offer more upside/value than Rivers does
