Was this a unique passing event in NFL history? (1 Viewer)

Horrorshow

IIRC, in 1986 the San Francisco 49ers had three quarterbacks - Joe Montana, Jeff Kemp and Mike Moroski - each log 300+ yard single game passing performances during the same campaign.

Was this a unique occurence in NFL history or can anyone recall this happening before or since?

TIA! :lmao:

Marc Bulger, Jamie Martin, and Ryan Fitzpatrick all had 300-yard games in '05 for the Rams, if that's what you're looking for.

The Rams were close again in 2002...

Jamie Martin had five games with at least 218 passing yards but never broke the 300 yard barrier. In the same season Marc Bulger had two 300 yard games AND a 453 yard effort in week 10 versus San Diego.

Kurt Warner chipped in with three 300 yard games as St. Louis piled up 4,480 total passing yards on the year.
