Yeah- I don't quite understand the rules on going low on QBs. Scary moment...just glad he seems to be ok.Griffin hit low. Surprised that's not a flag
Helu should not be out there more than a handful of plays a game. Gruden has this dream of him being Giovani Bernard, and the dream just won't die. Hopefully no QB's die. He can't block worth ####.Then whiffs and nearly gets Griffin killed again. And Helu whiffs on a block, Griffin avoids sack, and passes to Helu.Time for Helu to whiff on a block.
Seems like they throw a flag when defense does much more than hit a QB in the chest. Anytime a QB takes a hit I'm surprised there's no flagEta: I didn't have a problem with the hit. Just feel the league is getting overofficiatedWhy?Griffin hit low. Surprised that's not a flag
Good point. Problem with a QB like Griffen is what happen several plays before when he broke a sack and completed a pass for 20 yards. You've got to be able to bring a QB like Griffen down. And that is a difficult job to do legally in the NFL.Seems like they throw a flag when defense does much more than hit a QB in the chest. No way. That was not overthrown. Patterson quit on the route because the sun was in his eyes.
Rewatch that. If he would have ran hard the last two steps and put his hands out he would've easily caught that ball.
