Wayne's value... (1 Viewer)

I know it has been discussed in the preseason and there was no clear cut winner...

So I want to reiterate - 4 games into the season... which of these two guys you would want on your [DYNASTY] squad?...

FBG scoring - 1/2/3/1 league type - 12 teams...

Wayne positives (in regards to Owens)

- younger;

- plays for the most dominant QB in the league;

- has a tremendous WR across him;

- calmer / less risky to be "unavailable" to play.

Owens positives (in regards to Wayne)

- has been more productive in the past;

- doesn't need another elite WR on the other side to produce (even though he might have one);

- can clearly dominate a game when he's "in the zone";

- even at his age / best physique of any WR in the league.

Would you trade Wayne straight up for TO?...

Would you trade TO straight up for Wayne?...

Let's discuss...

Wayne could easily be the #1 WR right now if it were not for a few breaks... He's already had 3 catches where he's been tackled at the 1, and in week 2 he had a TD nullified by a holding call. He also had a "questionable" 50 yard reception ruled as incomplete, that looked like a bad call. He will come around soon enough, and he will be replacing Marvin soon enough. Depends on if the league was a dynasty or not I guess.

I had my choice in the offseason...TO or Wayne. They were on the same team with Steve Smith. The guy couldn't keep all three. I went after Wayne, got him and I am very happy. I'd do it again right now. I'm not worried about his production to date. It will only improve throughout the year.
