A trip to the finals is on the line. I'm rolling with Brees (for better or worse).

Right now I'm looking at...

WR: Davante Adams

WR: Sammy Watkins

FLEX: Michael Thomas

Bench: 
Taylor Gabriel (Julio has been ruled out for wk 15)

Jordan Matthews

Thomas has been hurt and could face off against Patrick Peterson. 

Do I hedge my bets and go with Gabriel or go all in on the Brees-Thomas stack vs. the Cardinals?

I'd go Thomas. Peterson is just as likely to be on Cooks as Thomas.

Personally I think Gabriel is a good play here. The Niners give up more TDs to WR than any other team in the league. Thomas is still one of Brees favourite targets but with Jones out Gabriel is the only 100% healthy option to replace him (Sanu still troubled a little by the groin injury)

My biggest concern is -- Brees hopefully bounces back, but if he doesn't he takes Thomas down with him and then I'm sunk.

Fortunately they're both afternoon games, so I may have to make a gametime decision based on how the rest of my team is doing.

I have Thomas and am worried he may not play.  Right now I have Tyrell Williams staring instead.  Are you confident in Thomas playing?

I'm on the Gabriel train, just too fast and with Julio out, seems like a winner to me.

All signs point to Thomas playing (no injury designation and a fully practice Friday), but I'm leaning toward Gabriel carrying me into the next round.
