WDIS - Need to recover from bad Thursday night (PPR) to win playoff game (WRIR) (1 Viewer)

Full PPR scoring.

I started Thomas Rawls and Bobby Wagner on Thursday night and now I'm 10 points behind my opponent going into the weekend. A win here will get me to the Championship Game.

Need QB, 3 WR, RB assistance

My roster:

QB - Roethlisberger, Rivers

RB - Hill, Ajayi, B.Powell. Also have Adrian Peterson on IR who I can bring back

WR - A.Brown, T.Hill, Benjamin, T. Williams, Diggs. Also have Alshon Jeffery I can bring back

My leans:

QB -Torn between the two QBs as Big Ben will probably feed LeVeon all game and Rivers has been throwing a lot of picks of late. Leaning towards Big Ben. Joe Flacco is available on the waiver wire as well and I can see him possibly having a good day at home against Philly.

RB - None of the RBs I have face the best of matchups apart from Hill and even then I don't trust him. Adrian Peterson has said he will play but with a playoff on the line is it worth risking a Championship spot for. There's also a chance Matt Forte could play making Powell obsolete of sorts. I have Hill in there at the moment. Kenneth Dixon is also available as a waiver wire option but may split snaps with West.

WR - Brown is a must start, and I also have Hill in there as both times I benched him he has blown up. Not making that mistake again. The problem with the remaining 3 is that all of them have been outdone by teammates (Ginn , Inman and Thelein). As luck would have it, all three of those teammates are available on the waiver wire along with Marvin Jones and Steve Smith as other options. Alshon Jeffery is the wild card here as he is back from suspension, but who knows how he will go in a very cold and windy Chicago. I have Williams in there at the moment, but looking more and more likely like going to the waiver wire here with a particular look at Dontrelle Inman,

Happy to hear any other suggestions. Post your link and I will answer yours

EDIT: On hearing that Julio Jones is out for the game against the Niners, I have grabbed Tyler Gabriel off the waiver wire and have dumped Benjamin. I now have him starting but will happily accept suggestions

1.  I slightly prefer Rivers.  He had a nice game against Oakland last time around, and SD will have to score, and Rivers to pass, to keep up with Oakland.  Cinci has Big Ben's number, and the weather is going to be rough there.

2.  At RB, I think you're saying that you have to start one guy.  Not Ajayi (I don't trust the Jets matchup).  If Forte is out, I'd start Powell.  The Jets backfield puts up collective points, and Bilal is legit.  Otherwise, I'd start Hill.

3.  Brown and Hill are must starts.  Hill is going to go off against the Titans.  At the third slot, I'd order them thusly:  (a) Diggs (I could see him getting good volume from the slot with Davis covering Thielen; he's still the most talented WR on that team); (b) Inman/Williams.  I really don't know who to prefer between the two.  Probably Williams, but it's close.  (c) Jeffery.  Hard to trust him since he hasn't played with his QB before, and it's going to be freezing in GB this weekend.  Not sure that teams are going to be throwing the ball much, or at least far.

I go Big Ben at QB, yes his road splits have been rough, and Cinci historically plays him well, but Cinci is also nowhere near as good this season as they have been the past few years. Also I think after Bell's explosion last week, that there will be even more room than normal for the passing game.

I think Ajayi is the obvious best choice at RB. The Jets run defense has completely collapsed, its a great matchup now. I'd be shocked if he wasn't a top-10 RB this week. I'm reading it as you only need 1 RB, if you need a 2nd, I'd go Powell, I expect Forte to be limited this week.

I think Gabriel might be a little bit of fool's gold this week. Atlanta might only attempt 20 passes and just pound Freeman(who is a top-5 RB in my opinion) and Coleman. I'd love to find a spot for Jeffery, as his upside is the highest after Brown, but his floor is certainly lower than Williams and Hill. I'd go with them.
