I have threatened to do this at work when it's 100 degrees outside and I have to wear a collared long sleeve shirt with slacks while the women in our office get to wear little dresses or shirts with short sleeved shirts.

I'll wear tights under my running shorts when it's cold out.  I'll also wear them under joggers or pants when hiking or camping to stay warm - I can't stand to be cold.

Sweats are quite different than yoga pants.

And where do you people live where you get shamed wearing some sweats  in public?  Sure, maybe not at work or a nice dinner.

Same here- I'll wear them a lot during the fall/winter to stay warm if I plan on being outside.  They work really well.
