Week 1 Injury Thread (1 Viewer)

Nate Kaeding carted to the locker room following the opening kickoff. Probably pulled something trying to tackle Percy Harvin on his kick return TD.

Sure looked like Louis Delmas hurt his hand on that last Benny Hill play. Will try to find out via radio if it was anything serious.

Hakeem Nicks was shaking his hand after getting hit along the sideline. Looks like he landed on it ackward. Next play was a 68 yard bomb and he got up limping after getting tackled on the 1.

FWIW when I was watching the Bengals game (and after Dalton was shown with the air cast) I saw him on the sidelines without the cast. X-rays came back negative.

Reading that Bradford's finger x-ray came back negative as well.

Beason came up w/ some kind of knee/hammy, falling down in coverage because of it. Carted off.

ETA: reported as ANKLE injury

CBS is saying the Kaeding injury was to his left knee.
Dear Mr. Keading....just cause you're wearing shoulder pads and a helmet doesn't mean you're a football player. Get the F out of the way if someone bigger than your grandmother is within 10 yards of you. Don't you know I'm in a freaking dogfight in my fantasy game? #####....

Tolbert limps off... writhing in pain.

Ankle maybe? dreaded HAS?

ETA: On trainers table... lookin at knee... maybe just stretching. I didn't see the play it happened on, so I'm not sure what happened.

Steelers team injury. Nuts removed. Placed into a jar. No word on whether they'll be reattached in time for the Seattle game.

Linebacker Daryl Washington has a calf strain, will b reevaluated tomorrow.

From Darren Urban via Twitter.

Anyone see this? Insight into how bad it is?

bradford hit finger on defender's hand on follow through. looked broken or jammed index finger.
I seem to recall reading somewhere today that it's nerve damage. Not sure what to make of that.
"In his Monday presser, Rams coach Steve Spagnuolo characterized Sam Bradford's finger injury as a "contusion or bruise."Spags called it a "day-to-day" situation. The extra day to heal up will help Bradford because the Rams play on Monday Night Football in Week 2. They may not even practice until Thursday. Look for Bradford to be out there next week"

Marshall planted on his last catch and the knee seemed to move a little. The defender flying over might have hit it with his own knee, too. As soon as he was tackled, he did reach up to the knee, not his calf, thigh, or hamstring or anything.

Players usually seem to react a little differently to cramps, by reaching for muscles instead of joints like that.

Guess we'll find out tomorrow/today.
