Week 10 Venting Thread (1 Viewer)

(In my best "Mr. Spacely from the Jetsons"...)

"CCCCCCCCCUUUUUUUUTTTTTTTTTTTTLLLLLLLLLLLLLLEEEEEEEEEEEERRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"

Alex Smith spot start (with Schaub on bye) FOR THE LOSS! I hate Thursday games :wall:
Same here.....at the last minute I decided to grab Smith instead of Sanchez considering the Bears had given up 10 TD's passes in the last 3 games. I know Smith is no Carson Palmer or Kurt Warner, but I also didn't think he was a Derek Anderson, JaMarcus Russell (or Jay Cutler <_< ) either.

1-1-ATL 1 (6:19) J.Stewart up the middle for 1 yard, TOUCHDOWN.

2-15-ATL 20 (7:01) J.Delhomme pass short right to S.Smith to ATL 1 for 19 yards (C.Lofton).

Owner of Steve Smith and DeAngelo Williams....sigh

Dear Washington Defense:

You know that there are 11 players on the Denver offense. You neglected Mr. Brandon Marshall twice in the first quarter. Two catches for 115 yards and two touchdowns to him are totally unacceptable.

Please do something to contain him...double coverage, triple coverage, even quadruple coverage. JUST STOP HIM!!!

Thank you.

Signed Lady BeBop of Cora's Grandma's Team...going against the Brandon Marshall owner

Addendeum: His flex player is Marshall (and his 2 TD). My flex player is Benson (who left the game with an injury).

Oh...and my opponent also has Steve Smith (Car) and his 2 TD. Right now, I'm 3rd highest scorer in the league...and I'm down by 35.

Addendum #2: Oh, did I also tell you I'm also the Ronnie Brown owner as well?

The good news is...I don't have Turner.

Thanks MJD for being a smart player and taking that knee on your free run to the end zone. Great play, I needed that TD.

I have Michael Turner, Cedric Benson and Ronnie Brown as my backs, and I dropped Bernard Scott this morning for a backup kicker for the stretch run.

I got you all beat and the afternoon games have only just begun:

D.McFadden

K.Smith (ETA: as in kolby smith)

D.Bowe

all starting for me this week. :goodposting:

Waffled between Benson and Lynch all week. Lynch didn't do much better but Benson got hurt.

Same between Braylon and Avery. Started Braylon, Avery blew up.

Taken from the injury thread:

Wow...today has been a little bit of a bloodbath so far...I hope you all have handcuffs.
No! :lmao: And so far, two RBs (Benson and Brown) and two WRs (DJax and Megatron) have made appearances in the injury thread today. At the rate I'm going, I might be starting Johnny Knox as a flex next weekend.<ETA>

:lmao: man LT is sitting there on my bench.
But not on my opponent's bench. ;)

So....cutting Snelling last week is looking like a real genius move for me. (Although, it did net me Freeman this week, which may save my a@$, but still.)

Started the Jets D...WHY? Over Cincy and Tenn...of course

Mendy sucks

Gates cant score

i dropped Bernard Scott after stashing him all year, now Benson goes down...WTF

ALL of my teams are going to lose big this weekend. Including one that Yahoo projections had as a 30+ point favorite against a dead-beat manager with 2 inactive players in his lineup. Every lineup decision I make is the wrong one. I suck at fantasy football

Let's see here.

I am playing against Chris Johnson and his 46 points.

Due to byes, I had to play Kyle Orton as a flex......he throws 2 TD passes, which is great, but both are long ones to Brandon Marshall, which, of course, I am playing against.

My opponent already has 122 and has Brady, Welker, and Dallas Clark left. He could hit 200.

I currently have 98 with Rice going tommorow night.

Let ESPN Fantasy Football Now influence my decisions, which I never do.

Benched Jamaal Charles at the last second for Lav. Coles. Coles did OK, but half the production of Charles. Thankfully, I had this game won regardless but missed out on highest score because of it.

Was ready to roll the dice with Ladell Betts who I've had on my roster for weeks now. With 5 minutes left, I let the woman who does weather convince me that Betts was 75% and his foot wouldn't respond well to the bad field conditions. Instead, I played Julius Jones who hurt his female parts after two carries. Incidentally, Forsett had a huge game in relief of JJ, who I had on my roster until I dropped him before kickoff. :loco: :)

Going against Johnson and his 46 points , Marshall and his 32 points and Bush, while I have Schaub and AJ on their bye's. Down huge. I knew week 10 was my bye problem week, at least I lost big. It would have sucked to only lose by a couple.

Had Jamaal Charles in over Shockey as my flex until I read here that Kolby was starting. Like a dumb ### I took him out.

I came into Sunday night up 68 pts. I'm done and he has Randy Moss and Robert Mathis left. 30 pts from any player is a stellar game and he needs more than that from both of his guys.

Moss currently has 50.05 & Mathis has 28.00. That's ridiculous. I'm the most unlucky player in my league this year. I don't have any injuries, but on every close lineup decision I pick wrong and I keep having "career" type days by guys against me.

Tie game. My guy, Addai, gets stuffed on 1st and goal and the one. Next play, my opponent's guy, Wayne, catches the TD. Instead of winning by six (or at worst, tying), I lose by six.

I was in my FFOC Championship game this week. I lost by 2 points. If MJD scores that TD, I win. If Maroney doesn't fumble and scores, I win. If Addai makes that final yard and scores the TD that way, I win. If Manning throws that TD to Garcon, or Addai, I win. All these ways to win, and I lose.

I've started Cedric Benson three times this season: Week 4 v. Cleveland, Week 6 v. Houston and yesterday against Pittsburgh.

Easily his three worst games of the season.

You must have some seriously good RB options to have only started him 3 times all season.
We start 2 RBs and my RB1 is DeAngelo Williams. My RB2 is Ryan Grant, who has just happened to have great match-ups whenever Benson has had tough ones. And I started Tashard Choice in Week 5. Finally this week I benched Grant and decided to roll with Benson regardless of match-up from here on out.
