Week 13 QB Rankings (1 Viewer)

As I scramble around trying to fill the (large) void left on my team by Donovan McNabb, I noticed that both Jeff Garcia and Aaron Brooks are ranked in the top 12 this week at QB. I grabbed Brooks on a whim from waivers (while holding my nose as a Saints fan) as a backup for Philip Rivers. While I understand the logic on Brooks to an extent (new OC can't be worse than Walsh; Brooks has played reasonably well; HOU is a good matchup), I'm a little confused by the high Garcia ranking, particularly since FBG isn't too high on the PHI v. CAR passing matchup. Thus, my question for the pool is: Do you agree with the FBG ranking on these guys this week? If so, why or why not? Finally, are either of these guys viable starters for McNabb-less teams down the stretch?

A few things worth noting - They are both in the bottom of the top 12 and only about 1 fantasy point separates QB10 from QB 20.

It seems like all season the QB's in the 10-20 range have been very tightly bunched. So to answer your question, yes I think they are viable starters but the QB's in that range are going to be a crap shoot each week.

I actually grabbed Brooks off of the waiver wire this week as well. I have Hasselbeck as my #1 guy, but in all honesty Brooks against the Texans in nicer weather sounds relatively appealing to me as opposed to Hass at Denver. (FBG has Brooks at 12 and Hass at 20 so crapshoot it is for me)

the McNair ranking is laughable. Sure they have Heap ranked the #1 T.E. but the Baltimore WRs are ranked way too low for McNair to live up to the ranking.

According to Dodds you start McNair over Manning or Romo this week. Right.
