If two teams below .500 square off on a pseudo-National network, does anyone actually watch?
If you own any of them for fantasy purposes, perhaps...
What are you expecting from Rivers? I had him in until 5 minutes ago....just debating between him and Ryan.Hoping Rivers puts something up vs. the secondary and LT does what he usually does to the Raiders. Maybe Castillo will get to the QB tonight if he plays.Anyone think this game score 43 and Over?
I want to say least 215 and a TD or 2 but thats my problem. Either I start Rivers or I start Mcnabb @ NYG. 1st round playoffs and I rather play guy who's in warmer weather who's been little more consistent recently. If I were you I'd play Ryan. Seems like better bet for higher scoring game. What are you expecting from Rivers? INACTIVES:
Raiders: QB Marques Tuiasosopo (3rd), DB Michael Waddell, DB Darrick Brown, LB Ricky Brown, C Jake Grove, T James Marten, WR Ashley Lelie, DE Greyson Gunheim.
Chargers: QB Charlie Whitehurst (3rd), RB Michael Bennett, RB Billy Latsko, FB Mike Tolbert, G Kynan Forney, T Corey Clark, FB Kris Wilson, LB Marques Harris.
Thanks!
Yes, it's that bad - I highlighted Ashley Lelie....
The KR is Justin Miller. JL Higgins does PR.Is Higgins still on PR/KR? I could put him in the lineup and maybe see a lot of points.

That's always the danger of making a move like that - can you live with it all off-season knowing that you benched your stud? Did you outthink yourself out of a win?LT looks like he's running strong, primed for a big night, hope people didn't overthink it and bench him.
Personally I'm willing to live and die with my stud back. Esp. when the opponent is a team he's ripped up in the past over and over.LT looked good till got down there where he's usually best. Dont get the pass play there. Ram it home. :(That's always the danger of making a move like that - can you live with it all off-season knowing that you benched your stud? I hate life right now.Signed,LT Owner1-7-OAK 7 (13:15) 21-L.Tomlinson up the middle to OAK 3 for 4 yards (28-Gi.Wilson). 2-3-OAK 3 (12:31) 21-L.Tomlinson up the middle to OAK 2 for 1 yard (27-R.Baker). 3-2-OAK 2 (11:56) 17-P.Rivers pass incomplete short middle to 85-A.Gates. 4-2-OAK 2 (11:50) 10-N.Kaeding 20 yard field goal is GOOD, Center-50-D.Binn, Holder-5-M.Scifres.
It was 3rd at the 2.5 yard line and they just got stuffed twice.Looked like play action to Gates but he was doubled, and the line caved so Rivers did the right thing and throw it away.Personally I'm willing to live and die with my stud back. Yea, I'm just more confused on how the Chargers offensive line has sunk so far that they cant pound it in like they did last year. I wasnt trying to knock the play call just fact a year ago that would have been LT for 6 easy. Guess it just been combination of both LT and the offensive line.I know that alot guys are giving up on LT but I'm not so sure its just LT. Does appear the toe has been lingering. I notice his cuts and explosion isnt what it was last year. What do you think? It was 3rd at the 2.5 yard line and they just got stuffed twice.Looked like play action to Gates but he was doubled, and the line caved so Rivers did the right thing and throw it away.Personally I'm willing to live and die with my stud back. Sure, why not, his crappy blocking is the reason LT isn't playing well, so might as well reward him.(The above statement is driven by bitterness and may not actually be accurate in any way.)Should give it to Hester
I was thinking the same thing and looking at replay they totally should have challenged it.Didnt that "fumble" by Russell kind of look like the Tuck Rule?
1. He was hurt2. His o-line was hurt3. #2 is more important than #1.Yea, I'm just more confused on how the Chargers offensive line has sunk so far that they cant pound it in like they did last year. You're the Raiders and you stink. Why not challenge that? I know it is a new staff but the Patriots/Riaders Tuck Rule call was pretty famous, nobody on your coaching staff thinks of the Tuck Rule when seeing that replay?I was thinking the same thing and looking at replay they totally should have challenged it.Didnt that "fumble" by Russell kind of look like the Tuck Rule?
Why punt at all the rest of the season?why punt on 4th and 1? I know they got good field position out of it, but heck, the season's over anyhow. Why not go for it?
That play call is so bad. I have seen it so many times. The TE has to flatten out to catch the ball and then has ZERO momentum going forward. He is an easy stop. You need to get 3 yards downfield and that makes it easy for the DB to undercut the route for an INT. Its just a bad play all together.why punt on 4th and 1? I know they got good field position out of it, but heck, the season's over anyhow. Why not go for it?
