Week 14 Venting Thread (1 Viewer)

That sucks. At least it was my own stupidity that led Mike Wallace and Jon Stewart t start. Rodgers getting hurt blows.

I'm going to just start venting now being that I have no shot at winning...Starting: Kitna, Jonathan Stewart, Derrick Mason, Ed Dickson, Jacoby FordOn bench or IR: Johnny Knox (weather), Earl Bennett (weather) Antonio Gates (out?), Frank Gore, Seattle Mike Williams (out?), Tony Romo, going up against the likes of Peyton, Desean Jax, Peyton Hillis, Dwayne Bowe...I have no shot of winning and the games have barely started. This is the most pathetic and injured team I have ever fielded and it couldnt have come at a worst time. :wub: :tfp: :help: :ptts:
 
I am facing McFadden, already faced him when he had the explosion early in the season. Looks like he is going to end my playoff hopes :goodposting:

 
Big thanks to Mike Williams and TO today....I don't think even Turner can save me now

Note: I know this is the venting thread, but I would like to thank Kyle Orton, Thomas Jones and the entire Packer team of sucking bad enough to let me make it to round 2 of the playoffs

Second best record in my league - out in round 1 to the 7th best record in the league.

Worse yet, he isn't even having a great day. My team just didn't show up.

Maybe a miracle from Ray Rice, McCoy and Santonio will save me - but HIGHLY unlikely.

Thanks Matt Ryan. Big props to you Mike Thomas and Mike Williams (TB). Oh, Crosby? Great job, nothing beats a single fg in the playoffs. Pat Angerer you suck - but only because you went to Iowa.

Worse yet? I swapped in Mike Thomas (0) for Deon Branch (16) due to weather...and when I heard Tampa Mike (0.5) was starting I put him in for Santana Moss (14). That was a 29.5 point swing.

On the bright side, all 4 top seeds lost to seeds 5-8. First time ever in this league.

I feel better now.

Have to start working on my baseball draft preparations. 2011 is my year.

Just had a Jimmy Graham TD nullified by penalty as Gronkowski caught a TD. Guess who is in my lineup and who is on my bench.

I will need a Christmas miracle to win. The team I am playing is having their best game of the season- Turner,Mcfadden :lmao:

 
So my season is going to end because my opponent picked up Patriots D/ST a few days ago... Unfreakinbelievable.

 
In my wildest dreams, I couldn't imagine a first round playoff game going this horribly wrong. It's bad enough that my opponent still has Jeremy Maclin, and the Anquan Boldin/Joe Flacco combination.

My starting lineup looks like this...

Kyle Orton - Getting shut down by ARIZONA

Santonio Holmes - Nothing.

Greg Jennings - Worst game in months, thanks to Rodgers getting hurt.

Legarrette Blount - 4.8 points.

Hines Ward - FINALLY shows up for a game, but he's the only guy on my team that has done anything.

Broncos D - Sucking, but I can't say I'm surprised about that. My other option was Chicago, who are just as bad.

I still have Ray Rice, Ahmad Bradshaw, and Jason Witten. Considering his 40+ point lead and the guys he has left though, I should lose by a minimum of 30+.

F! me I can start 2 QB in a league; I totaled .6 of a point; that's right; not even 1 point from 2 of the top 5 qb's in my scoring system - Rodgers and nutsucker Orton.seasonover.
 
Def gets me -5

Jennings and Stevie don't crack 10pts.

Ivory gets 7 carries and 4pts

and oo...Feely scored the most points for his team....lovely, gonna lose big ( he has McCoy & Giants D vs my Foster & Dressen )

 
Finished 12-1 in 1 of my leagues and looks like im going to lose my matchup this week to a team that finished 6-5 and somehow made the playoffs. Dude had Pittsburgh D tear me a new 1.

Im down by 30 with Flacco, Arian Foster, Philly D and Miles Austin.

He has Eli Manning and Andre Johnson to play.

Me thinks I need to get very lucky to pull this win out. Worst of all I have been running my mouth all year. Why does this always happen come playoff time? CJ got me off to such a great start.

Hmmm....Lose Rodgers; Tampa Mike w/ 1 lousy recep; Mendy w/ a meh game; Tolbert sharing touches equally w/ Mathews = mother$#@!%^

 
Thank God for a bye. But Ive lost my top two WRs QBs (Calvin & Jennings) and Gates was inactive again. Couple that with Gore's injury leaving me with garbage at RB2 and looks like a quick end to a promising season.

 
8 leagues ... won 5 divisions and made the playoffs in 7. Suffered a crippling injury in all 3 division winning teams with a bye and appear headed to upset losses with my other 2 division teams without byes. In one league faced McFadden. In the other faced a sorry squad with no RB's trotting out Torain and Hightower. Heading into week 15 I'll have 4-5 teams alive of which 3 have crippling injuries. Monster season to on the verge of nothing just like that.

 
#1 seed, playing a team I outscored by 400pts in the regular season, and I'm almost certain to lose week 1 of the playoffs. Blount, CJ, Jennings, Stevie, Crosby - all did nothing. McCoy has 2pts through a half. The Jets scored 8 points for me, and have outscored everyone else on my team...

 
Ugh. All year, I had the best team by far. 2nd best record, best PPG by at least 15 pts, first team ever to break 200 in league history.

12 of the 16 teams make the playoffs. I had a first week bye, so this was my first meaningful week. Last year, I was in the same situation and knocked out with no QB. (Ryan was hurt). Last offseason, I traded for Rodgers, giving up like 4x 1st rounders... and of course, he put up 1pt and went out of the game.

The rest of my team, particularly the defense, really shat the bed too. Timmons and Lofton each putting up 5 pts, Harrison getting blanked, Burnett putting up just one assist.

In short - my had been averagin 134 PPG all year. Today, we're at 58 with Maclin, Buehler, Rice, Jared Allen and Tuck left to play. This one is going to sting.

 
Made 3 last-minute lineup changes today - replaced Gerrard, McFadden and Miami Defense with Roethlisberger, Blount and Denver Defense...cost me 80 points, as my bench outscored my starting lineup...

 
Philip Rivers- INT & FR. Got up early and stopped throwing.

Arian Foster-

Steven Jackson- Fumbled & Didn't get in from the 1 yard line.

Jeremy Maclin- Invisible

Anquan Boldin-

Jacob Tamme- Can't block and doesn't play in the redzone (Had to play him because of Gates)

LaGarrette Blount- Fumbled & NO TD vs. the Redskins

I was in 1st place with a 12-1 record and was playing the #8 seed who has Forsett and Roy Williams in his lineup and I'm losing. This is ridiculous.

 
That last Kitna to Witten TD will probably cost me the week as a #1 seed vs #8. 4th and 8 and Kitna rushes for the first down....then the TD after that. Horrible.

2 teams in the playoffs- Lost to Mcfadden and will lose with Mcfadden. How is that possible? I figured I would be good on at least 1.
