Week 14 WW Defenses (1 Viewer)

I know Bloom's Rent-A-Defense will shed more light, when it comes out, and Yudkin's thread is useful, but I figured I'd see what people who weren't able to get a great option for this week ahead of time were thinking. There's not much out there:

MIA home to PHI

JAX home to TB

STL at SEA

KC at NYJ

TB at JAX

Even with Vick returning, I'm thinking MIA could be a decent play this week. In the last 7 weeks, they've scored double digits in my league 5 times and had 9 one of the other two weeks. Overall as a team they are playing some pretty good football right now.

Other than that KC has been playing pretty well on D, but I don't think they can be trusted on the road. That's probably the next best option here.

Beyond the obvious calls of teams not likely available, am I missing a matchup here?

Banking on Seattle all the way. Especially if Bradford doesn't play ( and even if he does he is pretty well dinged up).

Yep, add SEA to my list in leagues where they are available. They're just a different team at home and why I wouldn't trust the STL defense travelling there at all.I didn't list them because I figured they were gone in most leagues, but if they aren't, they should be money this week.

If Denver is still available, they should be a great play against a Bears team starting Hanie and Barber.

I agree... 2+ sacks in 6 of the last 8 weeks, and now they get Hanie.If they are available, they'd trump anything on my list in the OP.

I thinking the Cards might be a decent option as they have one of the better sched's and they've been playing quite a bit better lately....

NE gets Washington. A Washington offense without Fred Davis and Trent Williams. Any thoughts there?

In a couple leagues I saw Cincinnatti get dropped. And they have a Shaub-less/Andre Johnson-less Offense. You think CIN can bottle up Foster, the teams only threat at this point?

I don't think the Cin Run Def will hold Foster/Tate. They will get the train moving. This is where I am... I have NEP currently starting, with Cinn on the bench (v Houston this week), ....but Seattle is avail.....and I do NOT want to hold 3 DefSeattle or NEP are both prime matchups this week.... but next week they both will struggleNext 3 Weeks matchups....
