Week 15 Game Thread - Cleveland Browns at Philadelphia Eagles (1 Viewer)

The Philadelphia team that has taken the field the last three weeks looks very, very dangerous. Other teams in the NFC (read Dallas week 17) will have their hands full if they stay in this groove.

If they get in, they are a tough out for sure. Arizona has lost 3 of 4, NYG and TB on two game slides; if last year showed anything, the hot team has a great chance. Carolina, Minnesota and Philly look like the NFC's hot teams right now.
True, but Eagles don't have a great shot at the playoffs, IMO. Need to win two big div games, and I do think that is reasonable, however, they need ATL/TB to lose 1 game between them over the next 2 weeks. ATL @ MIN looks like the easiest route.
Agreed. They need help, but since the loss to Baltimore dropped them to 5-5-1, they look born again. They will be tough the rest of the way, and after this (presumably) 3 game win streak, have a realistic shot at 10-5-1. That may get them in, and they are a tough out right now.

TERRIBLE, why would you even punt that? You haven't scored a TD in a month. Dawson has been money from over 50 yards. You NEED points in the worst way, but instead you punt it straight into the end zone. What's the point?

Westbrook really saved that last play to keep McDonald from running it back.
Great hustle by Westbrook. He must be pissed. I bet he would like to see his coach show some confidence (balls) and run the ball from the 3 inch line even though there were only 9 seconds left. I HATE the fade.Westbrook has lost many TD's this year with Reid getting CUTE inside the 10. Think of 2nd and goal at the half yard line and Kolb throws an 108 yard interception return for TD.

Romeo = NOT smart.

Pass up a 52 yard FG from the 35 yard line when you have a great great kicker.

Punt predictably goes right into the end zone. Net gain, 15 yards.

I hope he fares better in his next profession.

EDIT: You guys beat me to it.

Professional eater

Trent Cole has the whole package. What an asset he turned out to be. 5th round pick in 2005, what McDougle was supposed to be when they moved up in the 1st to grab him in 2003.

It amazes me at the terrible decision making of some coaches at this level. See Jauron, Zorn, and especially Fisher yesterday. I'm finally used to Romeo consistently making bad decisions.

I sense the Westy TD needs to come on this possession or many of his owners are going down this week myself included. I'd like to see another screen or draw play to him.

That was Kolb? I thought Reid brought his son to the game, gave him a jersey!

He did NOT look like he was ready to go in should the unthinkable happen!

It kills me to see defenses like the Browns that are down and continue to play that vanilla defense with four man blitzes time and time again. It's the same reason I hope Sanders gets canned in GB.

The dump Tony K rhetoric is picking up steam... even comments on Sportsline, Craigslist, bathroom walls, you name it.

Therefore... we're stuck with him for 2 years... (thinking network brass saying "he's abrasive, but that's good for TV").

Ppl in California boycotting pro-Prop 8 business....

Can we boycott advertisers that advertise on MNF???!!!

Is standing there with the Art Shell Face really considered handling it with class? Romeo's job is on the line and you get ZERO emotion out of him. Cant he do something. WTH. Put Cribbs in and run the wildcat the rest of the night. You are getting murdered with Ken Dorsey out there. How can you have this guy on your team? Are there really not enough QB's to go around?

At what point, as a defensive coordinator, would you make a decision to bring the house? You can't stop them with a straight 4 man rush, why not? Kornheiser said it perfectly "total lack of resistance".

They cut Dorsey over the summer. They brought him back because Quinn pouted.
