Antonio Brown dodged one bullet by avoiding fracture. Now he is going to hospital to monitor leg to ensure no development of “compartment syndrome”. If that occurs, pressure in leg prevents arterial blood flow & surgery is required. That would end his season.
Summary: Fact that he's going to hospital is a concern but doesn't tell us anything for sure. Compartment syndrome would be season ending, if they monitor him and it doesn't develop he should be OK but could still miss a week or two.

That’s nasty stuff...that’s what happened to Ryan Johansen in the NHL playoffs last year. Had emergency surgery to relieve the pressure. Was said to be one of the most painful things (and he finished the game before going to the hospital after)
