Week 16 Game Thread - Indianapolis Colts at Jacksonville Jaguars (1 Viewer)

Is Peyton Manning the most reliable player in FF? It seems like every year, in the weeks leading up to and including the FF playoffs, you can always rely on Peyton to give you great numbers. In my league, he's been involved in our SB three years in a row.

I have found it to be a great strategy to avoid him on draft day then target him later in the year. I've always been able to trade a couple of early season over achievers for him.

Hasn't been so in my big money league. You might want to check Peyton's performance in week 13 this year...Funny thing, not a single player tonight is on any roster in this league for the 4 teams left.

Rhodes was in! Freakin Peyton, intentionally ran a quick one to pad his stats.
yup. all us rhodes owners got robbed by the refs...and peyton manning.
And let us not forget the ones of us who are playing clark.............
The Ref is a dallas clark owner? that makes sense.
Afraid not, the other team has Clark active. I'll had to make a phone call last tv timeout.

I've done the exact same thing 2 years in a row. Last year, traded ADP for him right before ADP got injured. I won the championship. This year, I traded Plaxico Burress, Calvin Johnson, Peyton Hillis, and Brett Favre, all for Manning. And I'm in the championship game again, off to a great start, obviously.

week 13? manning's had 3 tds in week 16 for three straight years. going back further, not so good, he was rested in some of those games.

31 QBs in the NFL cant come up with the snap and they are bad with the ball. Peyton Manning cant come up with the snap and it's his pro bowl centers fault.

Well you did say "leading up to". He wasn't reliable in that game. Just sayin. He has not been in the championship game in the last 3 years in my leagues. Sure wish I had him though...Ooopsie looks like Colts will pull this one out.

thought you meant it was playoffs for your league. thought that was pretty early! yeah, he did suck it up in that game.

Damn it. Didn't want a TD there. Now Peyton may not throw the ball anymore.
The guy has 350/3. Stop #####ing.
Hehe - I agree a little, but no lead is big enough when you have 3 (or 4) days to fret about and anticipate how the other team will produce, especially in the Super Bowl.Maybe he's playing against the Pierre Thomas owner and needs every last point he can get! :wall:I admit - I wouldn't cry about a few more points, even though Manning/Clark/Wayne has me up almost 70 already. The fantasy football can take a few tricky bounces, from time to time....

Jeeeez. If you lose this week it will be a travesty. A sham. A mockery. You know the rest.

OK, now I'm gonna get EXTRA super greedy here....

What we need now is a nice drive by Jacksonville to tie it up. Then Peyton gets it in OT and... another touchdown drive!!!!

Bogus pass roughing call on Manning. I'm SO sick of those being over done.

JAX has a last shot but does anyone realistically think they'll pull it off? Garrard blew the game with that INT.

is it me or is Northcutt one of the most under-apprciated WRs in recent years - plays well on sucky teams wherever he goes.

If the Jags score a TD, do they go for the win or kick the XP? Given how Manning is carving them up, I say they probably go for 2.
