Week 16 Kicker, Who Do You Have? (1 Viewer)

Granted, it's the kicker position, but games can be won on a simple extra point or lost on a missed FG. And the weather has to be taken into consideration also for this time of year.

Besides the obvious must-starts, who are you targeting/have for week 16?

Vegas isn't always right but for kickers I think it's a worthy option to look at the O/U for the week. The top scoring games in Week 16 right now are:

Bears/Eagles (54.5 points)

Dallas/Washington (53.5 points)

Broncos/Texans (51.5 points)

Lions/Giants (50.5 points)

So looking at those matchups and who's likely available in many leagues I'd say the choices would come down to guys like Forbath, Bullock, Josh Brown and maybe Alex Henery. Forbath would be a potential risk/reward pick. The Redskins should be able to move the ball on Dallas so as long as Cousins isn't turning the ball over a lot he could be looking at a potential double-digit game.

I'm going for Dawson (sf home vs ATL) to replace vinatieri. Adam has been good this year but not as good outdoors.

OP was asking about non-obvious starts. If you have Dawson he's a must start right now. I wouldn't even consider another kicker if I had him.

And why would you change kickers if you have Tucker already?

I am being serious and not flipent.....is either of these better than Tucker (3 field goals in first half tonight)

Exactly. Who cares if people are starting Tucker, Prater Dawson etc. Well done. They won't be available and you wouldn't drop then if you had them.

There would be some borderline guys on waivers like Feely, Bironas, Folk, Sturgis etc who would be worth talking about.

Tucker has an awful matchup this week. New England outside. NE is top 10 in fewest points allowed to kickers this yearIf Detroit had an outdoor stadium, Tucker most definitely misses his 61 yarder and likely could have missed his 52 or whatever it was
