It was if the Pittsburgh player did not have possession. Which I'm not sure he did. If he had possession I believe it's a penalty on pit but pit ballThat Pittsburgh blocked kick was unbelievable.
What happened?
That cannot have been right.

I'm not so sure. With all the goofy "full possession of the ball" rulings that have gone on this year, it wasn't definitiveHe obviously had possession. It was pretty definitive. I'd call a lateral a football move. And if you can review other "full possessions of the ball," why isn't this reviewable? What is the difference between possession after a catch or on a fumble?I'm not so sure. Because the whole thing was a sham of a mess of an embarrassment. It was pretty definitive. I'd call a lateral a football move. This may be the actual link...I noticed that NFL.com is not showing this as a game highlight. I wonder why? Could it be that it makes the official look bad? I found the highlight here: http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2013/12/22/george-iloka-interception-lucky_n_4490129.html#
So true.....refs have no clue what a catch is.Josh Gordon comes down with the football in the endzone then goes outta bounds, ball did seem to move, incomplete, you are Jason Campbell
Eric Decker comes down with the football in the endzone then goes outta bounds, ball seems to have moved, complete, TD, you are Peyton Manning.
Pass to Holmes at the 7 yard line or so, takes to steps backwards (I should add), crosses the goalline with the ball firmly in his hands, lands on the ground where the defender pulls the ball out, incomplete, you are Matt McGloin.

Close but they eff that one up. It's on NFL.comThe KC-IND game had one of those plays where the receiver caught the ball clean (no bobbling at all), puts the ball away, turns, takes two or three steps, then the defender comes in and strips it on the tackle. Clear recovery by the defense. On review, incomplete pass. The NFL is taking away great defensive plays with this garbage. It happens almost every game at least once.
