Chiefs coach Andy Reid indicated to reporters Monday that he is open to the idea of resting starters in Week 17.
And here's why no fantasy leagues should extend into the NFL's most-meaningless week. With nothing left to play for -- Kansas City is locked into the AFC's No. 5 seed -- Reid could conceivably field a lineup consisting of Chase Daniel, Knile Davis, and Junior Hemingway against the Chargers. Reid says he's made no formal decision yet, but he's "had some success (resting starters) in the past." per rotoworld!

And like Rotoworld said, that's why fantasy season's should end in Week 17. Too much unknown going into Week 17. Although, it worked out since really the Chiefs are the only team this year that have a seed locked up.

Absolutely,so stupid that leagues are still set up this way. My son(13) and I are in one just for fun and he is in finals next week and has Charles. He picked up Knile Davis last week just in case but he fumbled twice yesterday and was taken off kick return duty after that.

I agree, I hate it.

I've got 1 that does the championship in week 17. It's nice/fun in a way because I still have something to root for in week 17. But week 17 becomes chaos. With teams having nothing to play for/resting starters--that random RB that has no value could have a huge game.

Charles got you this far--no value now.

This league seems to be a little better than a lot of years--most teams still fighting over seeding/positioning.
