A Leodis McKelvin sighting. May be bad news for McGee owners ;)

Added some cool tables from kerpow with a little analysis to the weekly Reading the Defense column this week.

We're planning on replacing the seasonal table with a four week rolling trend table when we get enough data. kerpow will also be adding some percentage stats in the coming weeks.

Please let us know if there's anything else you'd like to see with this.

So what's the story on Blackmon. Is Woodson's injury going to keep him out for any length of time? Even when he comes back, might we see more of Blackmon on defense?

Jene, I read your take on Josh Wilson in your article.

Is he basically a CB3 for his team? Is he in on most Nickel snaps then? If he averages 2 or 3 tackles per game and 80 to 100 return yards, he should be an every week starter in my league. Do you think those are reasonable projections?

Woodson looked fine against Detroit, but didn't practice today. I haven't seen anything to suggest that he's worse off than last week but I may have missed something. Blackmon probably gets into the dime package this week with Bigby out anyway; if Woodson is out, there could be plenty of nickel snaps for the taking against the Cowboys depending on how the Packers elect to defend Witten when he's split wide.

Josh Wilson is the nickel back. He took 28% of the defensive snaps in Week 1 against the Bills. Sounds like he should be a starter for you in any week you expect the Seahawks to be ahead or in a shootout or play a team that uses a lot of three WR and spread offensive sets.
