Week 2 Injury Thread (1 Viewer)

Apparently Kubiak said after the game that Arian is okay and could have come back in (as per NFL redzone coverage). We'll obviously find out more in the next day or two.
Sure Kubiak, kinda like how he could have played last week?

mortreport Chris MortensenEarly word on Cowboys injuries not good. Felix Jones separated shoulder. Miles Austin (3 td) pull hammy again - team worried out thru bye wk
It's unclear to me if Mort means both may be out until the BYE or just Austin or what. I didn't realize Austin got hurt. Observations in Dallas?

I think he meant Austin. Jones came back in after he separated his shoulder.

TE Hernandez injured knee, probable to return per announcers.
Watching the NFL RZ - what happened to him?
No idea, but he never came back onto the field from my recollection
Word from the Pats locker room following the game was Hernandez was limping badly. Not good news, hoping for the best.
From CBS:
Aaron Hernandez, TE NENews: New England TE Aaron Hernandez left Sunday's game against San Diego in the fourth quarter with an apparent knee injury, according to the Boston Globe. Hernandez was considered probable to return but never went back in the game during the Patriots' 35-21 victory. After the game, he was spotted leaving New England's locker room limping badly. Hernandez tallied 43 yards and a touchdown on five receptions before leaving.Analysis: The severity of Hernandez's injury is unknown, though it could just be a minor setback for one of the Patriots' hulking tight ends. He was targeted eight times by QB Tom Brady, two more than fellow TE Rob Gronkowski, who hauled in two touchdown passes, including one in the fourth quarter. Fantasy owners should keep an Hernandez's status as any time missed could result in added value for Gronkowski.

Maclin goes down hard with a hit to the head.

seems fine on the sideline.. but I wonder if he will go back in.

Vick shaken up. Hits helmet to helmet with his own lineman.

looks like a dazed fighter. Spitting out blood even.

Off to the locker room. Seems fine walking though. Not wobbly or anything.

Report is a neck injury.. Blood was from biting his tounge.

Vick to have an MRI today and "Impact Testing"

Being discribed as a mild concussion. He was ok on the flight home

As per Reid presser

WR Miles Austin (hamstring) on a week-to-week basis. However, ESPN.com reports sources said Austin isn't expected to play Week 3 against the Redskins. The report also added that while it's possible Austin could return Week 4 against the Lions, it's more likely he will return after the bye in Week 6 against the Patriots.

The first report was that Austin would be out until mid-October and it seems that seems to be the general consensus, but this is all speculation until the Cowboys make an official statement on his status. You can still hold out hope that Austin is ready to play Week 3 against the Redskins, but you better have healthier alternatives available just in case he does have to sit because of this injury.

Anyone on Felix Jones? Did he practice today?

We're getting all kinds of updates on Romo and despite a punctured lung, he's "expected to play." Meanwhile, zippo on Felix.
