Week 2 Venting Thread (1 Viewer)

I thought he would be a 220 yard 1 to 2 TD a game guy.

He sucks, time to move on. :bye: Alex Smith will be a better start than this dud from here on out.

Only other guy probably more upset than me is Chris Chambers owners cause they wasted a lot higher pick than I did.

Drew Brees is killing me thus far. We lose points for ints, fumbles, and sacks. Before that last TD pass I was staring at a -7.5 in the QB column. :wall:

 
I find venting in here early sometimes jumpstarts by guys to prove me wrong...having a rough day due to injuries (Smith and TJ) and had to play:

Mohammad - 1 for 12

Edwards - 0 for 0

T Williamson - 0 for 0

Alright I'm sitting here watching a boring Eagles game so check out stats on nfl.com and see culpepper is doing kinda bad considering. LD program said to start Culpepper over Vick and so did the cheatsheets. It sort of made sense so I started him. This high ranking of Culpepper is starting to burn me. Do people really keep expecting him to get the projected stats or what? Cause personally I'm tempted on never starting him again until week 5.

if you don't want to start him then don't start him. don't blame your choice on other people.

Not enough room for my venting. In three leagues, there's a very good chance I'll start 0-6.

Only one other time before this year did I go winless in any week...

Maybe I shouldn't be venting and instead should just be admitting that I suck.

I feel for you.I am in 3 leagues and started 0-3. It looks like I will win 2 out of 3 this week but in my first year dynasty league it looks like Im going 0-2. I had a lot of home for my team this season but when LaMont Jordan was your first round pick (PPR league) there is not to much to be happy about.
 
I was debating Lundy vs. Addai in my flex. Needless to say since I'm in this thread, I went with Lundy.

Oops.

 
I went with Rod Smith over Deuce McAllister in my Flex position....Here is hoping that early venting will give Rod Smith a Career Game.

I am guessing that Deuce really did not deserve the #35 ranking of the FBG cheatsheet. :banned:

This was probably the wrong week to go against the Ravens Defense in all three of my leagues. :wall:

After weeks of research and average draft position and VBD, I end up with 3 running backs that are apparently not big TD threats and 2 WR that dont get first looks. I have now been the low score two weeks in a row and with my lack of TD potential it doesnt seem to be getting any better. I may as well walk in and guess who to pick

Know the feeling GB. I've faced freakish weeks too. Last week Stallworth and Wilkins, this week Driver and LJ the #### Smith. Wont see games better than that the rest of their careers.

No I'm not blaming it on anyone but me. As you can see I said It sort of made sense so I started him. That was my choice to make based on rankings here and my own thoughts. :wall: What I am saying is I think he may be ranked higher then he should be but I don't know. End of the day I came out with 12 for him would of been 23 for Vick.
 
I got the impression this week that Stover had a leg severed and reattached, so I benched him. :wall: Oh well, I replaced him with Gould, so I only benched 4pts. However, should I lose by <4pts, ahl be beck to rant!

He has 82pts...Peyton (38) and Rudi(26) have 64 of those pts.

YAY to go 0 ####### 2 on another fluke ####in week

Meanwhile Edge with a stellar 4pts and Elam a big goose egg.

At least losing to some of the best guys in the league is some consolation. Its when your vastly superior roster does nothing against scrubs that explode that tear your heart out.
 
yes that was a good idea I had....give Plummer another chance, he can't suck that much. Yeah well he f-ing does.

 
Where do I start?

In one league my bench consists of Vick, Westbrook and L.J. Smith. In place of them I started Culpepepper, Lewis and V Davis. #### !!!!!!!!!!

In another league, at the last minute remembering the phrase "always start your studs" I replaced Antonio Bryant with Randy Moss. #### !!!!!!! Now while I don't disagee with that statement, I feel that Randy Moss's status as stud be put up to question.

That happend last week when Palmer and Johnson gave me 9pts and my high scorer was edge. Now this week I get decent game from CJ and Palmer and Edge plops up a freakin 4 while his peyton, rudi, and even a #2 RB in maroney are getting TDs
 
I used the SD Def. 3mins away from a shutout and 10pts, they give up a garbage-time TD. :wall: Double vent, my opponent has Bennett, the 18yd TD scorer!! :hot: 10.8pt swing against me. :angry:

Yep, I thought I was just barely going to survive playing against PManning...until that Bennett TD for my opponent. Thanks, Vince! :bag:
 
Heading to 0-2 despite possibly my best team ever. Last week, it was Peyton that beat me as i lost by 1/2 stinking point. this week it is Carson Palmer and I trail by 17 with no hope of coming back unless Santana and TO go nuts). Hassel-who? Guy has been a complete bum. Barber? Nice yards, where is the end zone?

Defense? Did they all decide to take the week off? Only Witherspoon had a decent day for me.

I hate this game.
