Playing the Schaub - AJohnson owner... 20 minutes into the game and I'm about to concede defeat for the day.. plus he's go ADP too :thumbdown:

I have Anthony Gonzalez (injured w/ 0 pts last wk) - Donnie Avery (this guy sucks balls - how was he ever rated so highly??) - Greg Jennings (did he get injured and nobody is talking about it, cuz it says he's got 0 pts??) - Santonio Holmes (my only hope - who most of the writers on FBG slagged on!)
 
Left Schaub on my bench. Saw Bloom say REALLY BAD weather for the game, so I benched Schaub and Collins for Cassel.

 
I'm totally blaming FBG for making me bench Palmer in favor of Russell. :popcorn:

Finalized my lineup @ 8 am this morning, started Welker. Left to run errands for a few hours, got home about 5 minutes into the 1st quarter to see he was a scratch... %$#@!

 
Schaub's 37 pts on the bench so I could start Hasselback--who's now hurt and sounds like he won't return...

Started Nate Burrelson and Thomas Jones over L Coles (TD) and J Edleman (98 yards) too.. Scooter Pies I was thisclose to putting in Edleman over TJ and couldn't pull the trigger...

 
What crap! This was the worst day. Advice on FBG was way off this week! I'm paying for their knowledge, which right now makes me think I getting jipped!

I played Garrard over Shaub and Palmer due to that Garrard thread but also because Shaub and Palmer stunk so bad week 1. My fault, should've went with my gut. :mellow:
 
A combined 2.4 pts from Randy Moss and Greg Jennings, and to kick a man when he's down, Matt Hasselbeck has to leave the game. Probably didn't matter anyway, because my opponent had Chris Johnson who puts up almost 50 pts all by himself :mellow:

Well, I feel a bit better. I also started Hass over Shaub...SUCK!
 
Garrard over Schaub. Plus I have Donnie Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah---ahhh-ahhhha-aaaaaa-very in there. Garrard had some garbage time points, but if I had Schaub in there I wouldn't have to hope Reggie Wayne outscores Peyton Manning tomorrow night.

 
I played a guy who started Chris johnson and Schaub. I imagine he is in the bragging thread right now. What ya gonna do :wub:

 
League average is 85 points for the last 16 years. Best team I have had in years...last week scored 146 points. This week I score 107 points...and lose by 20 despite having the second highest score this week.

Ran in to a guy with -

Phillip Rivers, Chris Johnson, Andre Johnson

Holy hell did I just get blasted. Worse part is I have Brees and Gore and wasted there great efforts.

Josh Morgan...you are fired.

 
Lost by 3 pts cuz my WRs combined for 6pts (RMoss, LMoore, Stuckey) :goodposting:

Westbrook stunk :wall:

Now Im 0-2 but I have tons of RBs with value and will be making some trades this week. Time to turn this around.

Because of the last minute report that breaston is active and ready to play, I take manningham out and breaston in with 5 minutes to the deadline. That one hurt.

Also the stupid referee in the giants game took away a much needed six points from my defense because he can't see!!!

Now I'm exactly tied going into Monday night, I have Wayne and he has Addai.

 
benched owen daniels for dustin keller. ended up with me losing my matchup. 20 pt difference this would have made. in yahoo league.

 
Went up against Gore.

Had no choice but to start Rice and Derrick Mason.

I will never draft a Raven again unless McGahee retires/traded/dies.

Did you go up against Brees in Week 1 as well?My bigger money league, I thought I drafted stellar.Doesn't help week 1 I face brees. Week 2 I face Gore.

No I didn't, but I am the proud owner of McNabb and LT2.But was lucky enough to start Garrard today.I guess I should count my lucky stars I have good depth, I only lost by 5 points. If only that last Raven TD went to Rice or Mason instead of Todd Heap, who my opponent owns!
 
This was my money league as well. All my other leagues I destroyed the opponent. In one of them I own Brees and I have Shaub and AJ in the other.

 
Another Jennings/Moss double-sufferer. So much for thinking I'd dominate with my WRs. This team is just killing me!!! For the 1st 2 weeks, Yahoo and FBG projections had me as HUGE favorites - winning by +20 points. And I'm about to go 0-2. To rub it in even more, again I had tons of points of the bench. Harvin at WR and Reggie Bush/Hightower at RB (I started SJax and Rice at RB).

Ehhh ... this is a league I've won 3 years in a row, so I guess I'm owed bad luck (certainly I'll get no sympathy from the others in the league)

 
Damn u McGahee!!!! Rice is the "featured back" my ###. That is a full blown commmittee with McGahee getting all the red zone carriies!!

Rice is permanently going on my bench.....

 
Part 2 -

Week 1 I get LT and McNabb hurt. Still cobble together a good team and am looking great after the early games with Hasselbeck, TJ and Carlson remaining.

Wham. Lose Mike Bell, lose Hasselbeck, lose the game on a late Tynes field goal.

So, in two leagues where I own Gore - I lose both games.

 
Had the worst RB opponent this week! He had both Gore and C. Johnson. They combined for over 60 points. My opponent has a massive total of 189 points. That's unbeatable, so I'm not too downhearted about the loss. I scored well over 100 too, though.

 
Chris Johnson/Steve Slaton is what's irking me.

I defended Slaton as a clear cut RB1 this year and ranked Johnson outside the Top 10; largely because Slaton had no real RBBC threat while Johnson most certainly does. Obviously it's early in the year, but as I watched CJ shred yesterday I kept thinking about how many leagues I passed over CJ in the late 1st/early 2nd in favor of other players, including Slaton.

 
Schaub screwed me 2 weeks now... by not showing up last week vs Jets and this week sitting on the bench vs TENN > :thumbup:

Went against Johnson (TENN) and couldn't play catch up especially with Romo sucking throwing the ball and B Jacobs totally running like crap.

O and Hasselback injured hurt me too. blah
