Week 3 - My Team Rules (1 Viewer)

Well, I havent lit it up this week, but its always fun to whoop your brothers behind. He has 8 points with only his kicker (Gostowski) left, to my 33 with Bush left. This puts us in a tie of 2-2-1 after 5 years of playing in the same league. Hes a good owner, just having rotten luck this week.

I was sweating A Green, Houshyomama, T Heap. I said the hell with it and started them all. I am leader in points this week and may be setting a new record with my team. Oh and that is with LJ on the bench.

I RULE.

Forgot to mention I started Favre over Bulger for the first time this year.

Well I'm sitting LT, Gates and SD D and leading my league in total points for the week which is a 25 dollar bonus.

I'm very pleased with Favre,Holt, Driver,LJ Smith, Gould, Sea D and hopefully Dunn. T Jones could use a TD one of these weeks but so it goes.

Westbrook and Hasselbeck. The cure for an 0-2 team.
I had a 1-1 team with that combo. Having Lee Evans, Winslow, the Miami D, Wilkins kicking, and Kevin Jones covering LT's bye week in the lineup didn't hurt either. I should move from league's 2nd highest scorer to 1st.

I have LT out this week and I'm putting up a great effort. The garbage yards from Alex Smith and the TD as time expired was that extra boost I need.

He still has Vick Crumpler Carnery tomorrow but I made this game competitive.

Even if I happen to lose the week, it was a great effort for my team, missing LT.

3-0 it is - big money [DYNASTY] league...

Palmer / Portis / James / Driver / Mason / Heap - even Jennings on the bench!... I was probably playing the worst team in the league though... only Peyton to be scared off...

'72 Dolphins... step aside...

NiceI too have Evans and Miami, Holt was another big contributor. I almost scored as many points this week as my first two weeks :bag:

My team doesnt rule, but I eeked out a win to improve to 2-1 with LT on a bye. Ill take it.

That is all.

Made a good decision today and helped me post highest point total this week, 116 with Crumpler to go with a lineup that includes....

Kitna (in for Brady), Portis, Ahman (LJ on bye), Driver, Boldin, Bryant, Cincy, Longwell, Crumpler.

:banned:  :football:

TJ.

And Westbrook.

And Kitna.

Still have Bush to go. Could be a serious high week here to get me off the 0-2 schneid.

scored 204 points this week in my dynasty league (5th highest score ever), when a playoff team averages around 150. had palmer, westbrook, k jones, holt, Djax, and solid scoring from my IDPs. with this performance, im now averaging 176 pts a game so far this season. took years for me to get this team to this level, and some "questionable" trades to acquire some of my studs. im 3-0 by the way

Willis McGahee, Andre Johnson, Roy Willams :)

Im still down 8 points going into tonight but I have Dree Brees and Crumpler; he has Warrick Dunn.

Hasselbeck  I think I'm good. Reggie Bush will have to outscore my Atlanta Def by 36 points for my opponent to pull it out. That Seahawks Giants game was a thing of beauty with Hass bombing away and his Shaun Alexander doing nothing, and his Burress getting benched. 3-0 here I come.

I did a horrible job of reading the rules for the subscriber contest. Not realizing not every guy scores each week I paid a heavy price for both Peyton and D-Mac. I was real worried I'd see the reaper this week with Tomlinson on a bye. Instead Fast Willie and Maurice Jones-Drew came through big time. After Reggie Wayne I've got bargain bin receivers but Toomer, Gabriel and Chris Henry all found the end zone. I went cheap at tight end with Eric Johnson, who not only scored but figures to look good moving forward with the rook's injury. I'm still destined to bow out of this thing sooner as opposed to later but I'm thrilled with how my discount picks have fared to this point.

I'm also still alive in both my survivor pick pools, which pretty much never happens!

Westbrook and his huge freaking day :pickle: .

Parker and his 2 TDs and 100+ yds :towelwave: .

Bulger and his 300 yds and TD  .

Driver and his TD  .

LJ Smith and his TD  .

Gould and his 4 FGs :excited: .

High score of the week by far...and that's with TJ Whoseyourdaddy on the bench - whoops  .

3-0 and by far the highest scoring team in a highly competitve and pretty high stakes league that includes many here(including FF "champ" Rob Zaminsky).

Funny thing is I have no real superstars, but lots of quality depth. #1 TE and #1 and #2 WRs in the entire league after 3 weeks.

Note: Point per reception, otherwise normal scoring

QB

Favre

W Parker

S Jackson

WR

L Coles

M Muhammad

Keyshawn Johnson

J Galloway

Michael Clayton

I chickened out on Green in the last minute and still eeked out a close one in a 16 team league (opponent needed 20 points from Deuce - got 13). Through three weeks I am 8-1 in my three leagues, the one loss by less than half a point.

Ditto. On top of that I have the #1 ranked defense. I am holding my opponents to 33 ppg. :lmao: B. FAVREE. MANNINGF. GOREJ. JONESM. BELLJ. LEWISD. WILLIAMS (rs)A. JOHNSOND. GABRIELG. JENNINGSRe. WILLIAMSM. WILLIAMSB. MARSHALL (rs)T. HEAPJ. STEVENSM. VANDERJAGTS. GRAHAMBUFFALOSAN DIEGO

I got the high score this week on the arm of Brett Favre, the legs of Roy Williams and Kevin Jones and despite just 1 point from Buffalo D. Yay! Now, I'm 1-2.
