Not that I am Nostradamus or anything, but I have a strong feeling that Monday Night's game might feature the first touchdown in Reggie Bush's promising NFL career. Could there be a better story than:

- Monday night home game in New Orleans

- First game back in the Super Dome

- Reggie Bush's first career touchdown

Starting Reggie Monday Night is kind of like betting on the Lions on Turkey Day...it's going to be hard not to do it. Although the Saints will have their hands full with the Falcons, I have a feeling that they are going to do their best to get #25 in the endzone. Can you imagine how crazy that place would be if it happened?

i'm gonna start him over Dillon, McAllister and Fred Taylor so he better scores one!

maybe it's stupid, but i want to see him win it for me on MNF and i think the Saints will showcase him in their first home game and on monday night.

i'm looking for 150yds combined and a score.

I voted no and I own Bush.

The Atlanta D is good. If they know what they have in Vick, they should know how to spy a guy like Vick (ala Bush).

I just don't see a lot of TDs for Reggie this year. In a PPR league, that's not why I drafted him. I'm looking for 8 catches a game to give me a solid foundation. Anything more is butter.

I say yes. But I'm a Bush owner so I'm biased. :D

10 carries - 48 yards

7 receptions - 62 yards, 1 TD

I'm interested in seeing how the New Orleans OL performs vs a very tough front four this week.

One thing's for sure, the schedule doesn't get any easier in the next few months for Bush:

Atlanta

at Carolina

Tampa Bay

at Philly

Baltimore

at Tampa Bay

at Pittsburgh

Cindy

at Atlanta

If ATL's D-line comes back healthy I say no. If not more then 1.
Abraham should play and Kerney should also. Don't know of any injuries to Coleman.I see all the reasons why everyone thinks this will be a big game for him, and that's kinda why I think it won't be, plus they are going against a D that currently ranks third against the run and can control the clock really well. I think Bush sees about 5 carries and catches 5 passes for a combined 80 yards and no score.

TB and Car currently rank worst and second to worst against the run respectively

Every team that faces Atlanta will have a worse run D ranking than they deserve. That team is on another level right now.

My plan is to finally bench Bush with Portis back (and SJax with him), so he is pretty much guaranteed to have a big game...

Regardless of what Reggie does, I think you made the right decision with Portis. Good thing Houston has addressed their defense in the last couple of drafts. Otherwise, Washington would have had over 500 yards of offense today instead of the 495 they gave up.

Monday night stats for Bush

10 catches 125 yards TD

50 yards rushing and a TD

yes i own him and am down 39 points in a PPR league.

so it is pretty much doubtful.

damn you burress....

I am losing by .5 pts. I have carney going and my oppontent has bush. I am looking for a pulled hammy in warmups. I also have McAllister in another league and need 25 pts between him, brees and carney. Go N.O.(except bush) :lmao:

I was so confident in Bush this week that I benched him for Thomas Jones and Jamal Lewis. You can probably guess that I voted "no" in this poll. Atlanta's D is STOUT, and they will be gunning for his squirrely little butt. I think Colston has a better chance to score than Bush.

so far so good. carney 10 .... reg 4.9

Reggie is overrated and we are seeing it today..... he can't score td's and will only average 80 yards a game if that.
Reggie will be fine - Atlanta rush def is very good. I like what I see so far out of Reggie - also very nice to see 2 GL carries....even though he didn't get in.

yeah.... i know. I was trying the reverse jinx, but it didn't work even though i needed only 1 more point

Ouch...sorry. The kid had his chance but I don't think he's built to just run straight ahead down the middle. At least he got the shot instead of Deuce.Don't give up on Reggie yet but it seems that some of us (ok, maybe just me and a few others) might have overrated him just a touch. :)

The guy is getting pimped with his own set of commercials. Not saying that he won't set the NFL on fire eventually, but these early returns are not good.
