Week 4 Injury Thread (1 Viewer)

Boldin down. Defender DROVE his head on purpose into his head. All doctors on the feild. Cart and neck brace board and praying going on. Both benches in the center of the field praying.
Smith was playing football - it wasn't dirty. The game is fast and these things happen. But yes, it looked bad.
He led with his head, left his feet, and made helmet to helmet contact. What part of that isn't dirty? Get a clue, seriously.Yes Boldin was hit from behind prior to contact but that increases his injury impact. The dirty nature of the hit was clear.
 I agree with this guy. This will be a fine at the least. I dont even want to talk about at the worst.
I think the guy should be suspended for as long as Boldin is out. He might've have ended Boldin's career.

Spearing is illegal. Hopefully Goodall gives him 4+ games off to set an example. He didn't look, lowered his head. aimed for helment to helmet, launched himself into the air, and made no attempt at all to grab hold or tackle. Deliberate attempt to end another players career.

That would be a perfect rule.

1-10 STL31 (7:21) (Shotgun) F.Jackson left end to STL 31 for no gain (J.Craft). BUF-J.Peters was injured during the play.

Remember Dennis Thurman of the Cowboys? Guy made a living out of hitting like that. Head down, shoulders back, in like a harpoon.

In theory it would be a perfect rule but it would never happen. What if a rookie does a helmet to helmet hit on somebody like Gus Frerrotte giving him a concussion and ending his career. Does that mean the rookie would be suspended for life?

Buckhalter down while tackling an INT return!!! ARGH!

Went to the locker room for x-rays...lower back contusion. booker in now.

I didn't hear anything in the game yesterday, and don't see anything after briefly glancing at the message board. But listening to The Dan Patrick Show today, Jason Witten had to re-schedule his interview because of an MRI. Did anyone else hear this or know anything about it? Hopefully it was just a follow-up from his injury earlier in the season and not a flare-up or new injury.
