Santana Moss,Plax Burress,Roy Williams and COlsten

L.J Smith,Mercedes Lewis..

Ok

League starts 3 line,4backers,2 corners and 2 safeties...

Kernney,T Cole,Terrel Suggs and Derrik Burgess

Will Witherspoon,Gary Brackett,Shawn Merriman,Julian Peterson,Kameron Wimbley

Kerry Rhodes,Gibril Wilson,Sean Jones

NAte Clements and Antonie Winfield

Ok this is a offense and defensive question here...Since Westbrook is beginning to scare me im trying to stack myself with some quality backs just for insurance policy.... I think Jospeh Addai will begin to emerge soon at indy as he had 20 rushes this past week... Woudl you trade Brandon Jacobs and my backup Sean Jones for Addai...

Need help with my #3 DL and #3 LB (my trouble spots) - Tackles = 2/Assist = 1/Sack = 4/FF & FR = 2

DL - Kevin Williams vs. Detroit or Shaun Rogers vs Minn (started Rogers last week & it was a good Williams week)

LB - Nick Barnett vs Rams (I expect tons of SJax) or Kawika Mitchell vs Ari (same with Edge)

Also, what is the best method for determining DL "matchups" - I have the 2 above plus Alex Brown, Darren Howard and Luis Castillo (starting Castillo every week)

TIA - you guys do an excellent job in here.

Currently I have Osi and Smith at DL, Briggs, Scott and Trotter at LB and Knight, Lewis and Williams at DB.My indecision at LB is weather Gold may be a better play for me at LB over any of those and if Manuel may be a better play as well. I've seen in the subscribers area the rankings, so of those I am aware.Anyone offer a reason why my lineup should be altered given the matchups?
Someone may have an argument with Gold over Trotter and with Manuel over Knight, but I think both matchups are too close to call. Gold may be a little safer than Trotter as he assured of getting snaps on all three downs. I really don't like Manuel with the other options in GB to compete with tackles, but you could say the same for Knight. With the secondary issues the Packers have, Manuel probably won't give way to Culver on many snaps this week as Culver is a little more likely to play 3rd corner than to spell Manuel at safety. Not much help I guess, but I'd run Gold out there with the inconsistent stats your DL starters have been producing and probably start Knight on the chance he can cash in a Leinart mistake.

Absolutely.

I'd start Williams (I'm not convinced Rogers is fully healthy yet and would take the Minnesota DL as a unit over Detroit's this week) and Barnett (like Aaron Schobel, I think you have to let Mitchell prove his worth and with the rookie QB Arizona may be playing catchup after LJ gashes 'em for 75 and 2 in the first quarter). My strategy for playing DE matchups is to (1) look for stat trends (i.e. which defensive position has been getting sacks against that particular team, how has a similarly talented player at the same position done with this matchup recently), (2) look for recent injuries/changes on the OL and specifically the tackle in question, and (3) decide roughly whether I think the DE in question is likely to face more or less passing attempts -- will his team be behind, is the opponent usually a pass first team (Martz, Indy, etc).

1.5tackle, .75assist, 5int, 4sack, 3ff, 2fr, 1passdefendDrop Bethea for S. Schweigert?
I like Schweigert's matchup a little better this week. Bethea faces the rookie QB but he probably won't be in the best position to take advantage. The Niners should be able to establish enough of a running game against the Raiders to give Schweigert more tackling opportunities.

Looking for a bye week player. Based on the matchups, who do you guys think looks like the better player this week:

Daniel Bullocks (against MIN)

Thomas Davis (against CLE)

Kawika Mitchell (against ARI)

Barrett Ruud (against NO)

I like what I see lately from Bullocks, Thomas Davis has been pretty consistent, and while Mitchell has struggled, maybe he gets it back together this week. I think Ruud would be the best of the bunch for the week, but I have to wait and actually see if he starts. So I'm curious to see what most of you think are the best from the other 3. What do you all think would be the best guy? Thanks for any sort of help!

I always lean toward the LB and MLB in close calls, but I'm having a hard time recommending Mitchell with his start and this matchup. I'm not real big on Davis' matchup. I don't think there's a good option on the roster to cover Winslow this week (including TD) and the Browns' rush attack has been meh. The Panthers have matched Davis up against Bush so you have to think it'd be him, but yeesh, it could get ugly for him. I think you're right in hoping that Ruud gets the start. Otherwise, I might roll the dice with Bullocks. The Vikings have been a pretty decent matchup for the SS so far and the Lion LB unit isn't very solid.

Thank you for the advice and info.

Who's my #4 LB this week?

A Davis, Urlacher, and L Marshall are solid. I need to start one of the following:

EJ Henderson vs. DET - strikes me as the safest bet today

Draft vs. CLE - CLE could abandone run game early, taking tackle opps away

B James @ PHI - just isn't realizing tackles yet

B Ruud @ NO - has most upside if he plays

Who's the right play?

Thanks and cheers!

Just trade Darren Howard, Dom Rhodes and Tynes

for

Umenyiora, Jacobs (I have Tiki) and Janikowski (Rackers is my starter)

What do you think? Was the upgrade from Howard to Umenyiora worth shuffling my role players?

UT = 1 pt, AT = .5 pt, sack = 2 (for first two sacks in a game, 3 pts each addl sack) , int = 2, td = 6, safety = 2

I disappointed in Henderson, who I drafted, and soon dropped for other needs. So, I would monitor Ruud's situation this morning, time permitted, and start him if he gets the start. Else, I would go with EJ. Maybe he's due. He should score reasonably for an LB4 regardless.

Who's my LB2?? I've got 3 very good options in Bulluck, Pierce, and Hayes. (1/TK, .5/ATK, 4/SK, 3/INT).

Bulluck is the only 1 I'm set on....can't decide who has the better matchup between AP and GH. Thanks in advance!!
