So is Josh Wilson a full time starter? I see he has recorded 7 and 8 tackles respectively the past two weeks. In my return yardage league, he would be golden as a full time stater returning kicks, much in the mold of Terrence McGhee the past few years. I see on NFL.com he is listed as the backup on their depth chart. Anyone with insight on this situation so I can determine whether he is worth a pickup or not?

While Wilson fills in for Jennings he is a must start in leagues with return yards. As Jennings returns as a starting Corner, Wilson's tackle numbers decreases as he fills in just for nickelback plays.

Do you think Witherspoon gets alot of return chances this weekend against Denver? I need a DB for bye.
For a Kick Returner, you want the opposing team to score lots (TDs or FGs, makes no difference), thus increasing the number of KR available. The quality of the returner and of the opponent's Special Teams coverage is a factor, but generally speaking, quantity of returns outweighs every other factor. Denver are a high scoring offense so the opportunity will be there for 4 or more KR for Witherspoon. How many yds/pt do you get? 5KR for 120yds is quite likely so I'd start him if he was avaialble.

The Colts this week re-signed cornerback Keiwan Ratliff and signed second-year cornerback Nick Graham. Ratliff, a second-round selection by Cincinnati in the 2004 NFL Draft, also played with Tampa Bay before spending time with the Colts last season and early this season. Graham played for Philadelphia last season before being released by the Eagles shortly before this season.

To make room for Graham and Ratliff, the Colts released offensive lineman Corey Hilliard and running back Justin Forsett, the latter of whom had handled kickoff and punt return duties the past three games.

Dungy said rookie wide receiver Pierre Garcon likely will return kickoffs with Ratliff handling punt returns.

oh ho ho.....

I don't think Jennings takes the job back from Wilson.

Jennings doesn't fit the mold of the defensive scheme. He is a pure bump and run corner. Being undersized he struggles against the more physical receivers. He offers nothing in the run support department or in the new more zone based scheme.

Wilson probably lacks some of Jennings talent, but is a willing tackler and will play the ten yard cushion and react defense far more effectively than Jennings.
