Week 5 Injury Thread (1 Viewer)

Calvin Johnson is getting medical attention on the sideline while the team is in the red zone... he's been limping for a few plays now and is definitely not 100%... looking at his knee.

This happened a while ago, but LT Chris Samuels left the game for the Washington Redskins.

Impact: Chris Cooley being kept in to block on that side. Panthers moving Julius Peppers around to take advantage.

Calvin was kinda holding his groin, but they are looking at his knee. : |
Anyone who's watching this game. . .is Calvin coming back on the field for this drive or are we probably looking at a ZERO for the week?
It's on commercial right now. If I see anything, I'll post it.
Calvin on the sidelines. NOT in for this drive.
Thanks for the update. This sucks.

David Carr throwin passes in NYG game? Eli just gonna take the rest of the day off vs. the hapless Raiders? or re-aggravate the foot?

Detroit Lions WR Calvin Johnson (unknown) has left the team's game and is being attended to by trainers on the sidelines. The trainers appear to be looking at his right knee and the surrounding areas.

Eli is not injured. The Giants are destroying OAK so he is sitting out now. I think a number of other NYG backups will get a chance to play at some point as well.

Looks like a groin injury if I had to guess.

Jim Nantz just announced that Ben Watson had suffered a head injury early in the 2nd half of the game and would probably not return.
