Week 5 Injury Thread (1 Viewer)

Brian Hoyer- possible torn ACL

E.J. Manuel down. Looks like knee injury

Manuel moving around on sideline. Injury doesn't look too bad.

Maybe not. He is limping into the locker room.

It doesn't look like Wilson is being allowed back in. Jacobs in on this drive and he just fumbled.

Rotoworld live blog: * David Wilson has his helmet on but appears to be arguing with the Giants doctor and trainer about returning. Good news for his long term health at least.

Michael Vick still in but grabbing left hamstring at the end of a run.

Edit - looks fine, probably a cramp.

Didn't look like a cramp in my opinion when Vick pulled up, but I hope so

Jason Pierre-Paul out with a right knee problem.

Justin Tuck with a left hand injury.

Michael Vick out of the game, Foles in. Wasn't running well.

Edit - Tuck and Pierre-Paul both back in.

At the game so not sure what the tv reports are saying, but vick came out after getting tackled in end zone. Total speculation but landed on his throwing shoulder. Is it leg or arm injury?

just read something about donnie avery questionable to return on espn-- let me make clear that I'm not watching--so we may want somebody who is to verify

He caught a longer pass and either layed out or fell pretty flat on his body afterwards. Looked more like he had the wind knocked out of him. Possibly could've even landed on the ball. I flipped the channel as he was going down though, and came right back while he was laying on the ground.

thanks for the update. That certainly is more information than what espn puts in their play by play.

From Rotoworld:

Zac Stacy left Sunday's Week 5 win over Jacksonville in the fourth quarter with a rib injury.

Stacy left after the game was already decided, so perhaps it's just a precautionary move. Owners that shrewdly added the fifth-round rookie on Sunday morning should hope so. Stacy started for the first time, showing excellent balance, blitz pickup skills and grit between the tackles. He finished with 14 carries for 78 yards, operating well ahead of backup Daryl Richardson. Stacy's health will determine how viable of a RB2 play he is at Houston in Week 6.
