Prior to tonights game I was down by a small bit and still had Gore, Akers and Kolb. The opponent had Eagles D. I figured I was a shoe in. JOKES ON ME!!

All of my players have played, and I have put up the highest total in the history of my league. My opponent is currently making a furious comeback with Alex Smith and Vernon Davis...and he still has Peterson and Santonio Holmes tomorrow.

If I somehow lose this, I will consider myself the most unlucky fantasy football player ever.

Malcolm Floyd on the bench.

Crabtree on the bench.

Need Holmes > Keller to win, not due to my fantastic managing though. :lmao:

Sat Malcolm Floyd for Donald Driver ... figured Nnamdi (assumed he would cover Floyd most the game), Washington's bad pass defense, and I figured I needed just some consistent Driver play to put myself in quality position to win. Now I am down 41 and have ADP/Keller left to go. Nice to have 2 bullets in the gun but starting floyd would have made my life a hell of a lot easier

Outscored everyone in my league by at least 48 points, except the guy I played. Down by 1, he's still got Braylon. Praying for some fumbles.

not sure if this belongs in venting or bragging... i have a pretty safe lead with Moss going on Monday night vs. only one player.

/of course i said this last week too...

You think it would be a blessing to have 4 startable RBs in a 12-team PPR league: Best, McCoy, Forte, and Bradshaw. But EVERY week I start the wrong 2. If you ever see me giving advice in the "Assistant Coach" forum, do the opposite of what I recommend. Because I truly suck at this.

Lost by one point, I had Gore who fumbled twice and also had a big zero from finley. :(

I am looking at 1-4 . I honestly like my team a lot. (in sig)

My one winning week I was the high score. This is the second week where I will likely lose as the second highest score in the league. I was the third or fourth highest score in another loss.

Trading Heath Miller for Dustin Keller (I had to double check it when the guy made me the offer) I figured I filled my one glaring hole.

F'n Forte and Nicks. CHI can't run the ball at all for the first 4 game and they have Todd freakin' Collins at QB.....but that doesn't stop the CAR defense from letting Forte score untouched from 68 yards.

And I hate the Houston Texans. Week 3, I had Austin going against their weak pass D....and HOU decides to triple team Austin and take him out of the game and I lose. This week, you think that they would try and take out NYG best WR....Nicks......no, they let him catch 12 balls and score 2 TDs.

But I still would have won this week had Gradkowski (my #2QB) not get injured early in the game.

Sometimes this game is really frustrating.

clayton getting hurt for the year... injuries are always bad...

but then palmer, subbing for the bye week Brady, with my opponent having Mike Williams TB....

needless to say, palmer cost the Bengals and my team wins with is late INT, which gave TB a chance to score the tying TD... to Williams... ugh...

Floyd has 3 nice games on the year, all three while on my bench.

Go w/ Schaub over Orton because Orton is against the feared Baltimore....STOOOOPID!!

Clayton & Finley both go down early in 1st quarter and kill me this week. Worst part is I got to see Finley go down in person about 30 yds away because his own dang team mate had to fumble the freakin ball!

Any one of these don't happen and I win. Started 3-0 but lost last week by a few points because of Vick getting hurt. This week was BRUTAL!

If it makes you feel any better, Nicks should have had 3 TDs, stepped out inside the 1 on one.

Started Calvin Johnson over Hakeem Nicks. I've not started Nicks once this season, due to having Reggie Wayn and Johnson. I'm pretty sure calvin is gonna be riding the pine next week.

12 team league start 1 QB w/ QB flex option. My QB's are Cutler (inj), Vick (inj), and Stafford (inj).

Started only QB on waiver wire... Todd Collins... he gave me -4.90 points... I lost by 3 points.

If I'd only started Jamarcus Russell ! ! !

Well, here's my injury history in one league

week 1: Started Stafford. Lost

week 2: Started Garrard. Barely won.

week 3: Started Sjax and Best. Lost.

week 4: Started Vick. Lost

week 5: Started Finley. Should win.

In another league I traded Brees, Driver, and Spiller for McFadden and Calvin before week 4. McFadden gets hurt week 4. Calvin gets hurt week 5.

This is probably my worst fantasy season ever, completely due to injuries.

After the Moss trade, I subbed Randy Moss in for Brandon Lloyd.

I was relieved to not have to rely on Lloyd.

I'd have won already, had I not made the change.

Instead, I need a solid outing from Moss, and am forced to watch MNF.

If you have either Jahvid Best or Matt Forte on your team and want him to blow up, just ask me to not start him!!!AAAARRRRRRGGGGGHHHHH
I told my wife to sit Forte this week. Man, am I glad she's going to win anyway. In my defense, she has Benson, Bradshaw, and SJax in addition to Forte. I didn't think a non-existent passing game would allow Forte to run so well.

I will be 2-3 come Tuesday morning.

I have the most points scored in the league. Have the most points scored against me in the league. I have now lost to the high week 3 times.

With this lineup:

Orton

S.Jax

Bradshaw

J.Best

R.Moss

R.Wayne

J.Finley

Bench: S.Moss, Ronnie Brown, H.Nicks

How am I 2-3 again? lol...

This has worked before and I need it to work again. Down by 9 coming into tonight with Favre and ADP going against Holmes. It was a done deal or so I thought. If I lose, my season is done since I'll be 1-4. Favre needs to get it together or Minny just needs to run ADP the whole 2nd half. Come on Favre and get it together.

***EDIT***

And it works again, thank you venting thread. I was worried at first with Favre's quick 2nd half fumble, but the premature venting in the venting thread always seems to turn things around when you really need it.

Benched floyd in both leagues, lost the one league by 1, and had I started Floyd in the other, I would have won by 3. Oh, and desean jackson, thanks for showing up. and now I am 1-4.

0-5....damn, never experienced anything like this before in FF. We play our regular season through week 14, & I figure I can only have one more loss to make the playoffs; not likely unless Mathews grabs hold of the lead RB job in SD NOW & Maclin & Tampa Mike can be consistently studly.

1-4 in my league, where reg season ends week 13, and here's who is killing me:

Turner 1 TD (Are you kidding me???)

Barber (starter, TD man...really??)

Hightower...ARZ sucks!!

B. Marshall 1 TD

Owens...a nice surprise

Fitz...I'm sure all owners are feeling the same way I do.

Henne, A. Smith, S. Hill...drafted Henne and Smith hoping 1 would emerge...wrong. Hill has 1 more week...I'm DONE!!!

P.S. The owners in y league are impossible to trade with.

I've never had to look forward to next year this early. UGH!!

I had 4 guys on a bye (plus my D), my two best receivers (AJ and Steve Smith CAR) both have ankle issues, my best RB (A. Bradshaw) was questionable, and I only carry one defense. Since pickups are $5.00 a piece I saw no reason to cut Pittsburgh (or any of my other players) for a scrub defense when I most likely wouldn't win anyway.

I ended up losing 90 to 63. The defense I would have considered was the Lions because they were at home against a week team. Of course in our scording system the Lions ended up with 27 points. I would have tied at 90 with the Lions.
