Any completed waivers reports on how high the bidding for Charcandrick West went? I know most people had their waivers run last night, but mine runs tonight. I'm nowhere near the top of my league in terms of FAAB, but I'm willing to throw all 58% of what I have remaining at him.

50% of total budget in one league.

Got him for 60% Next couple losing bids were just over 50%

Bears fan here. The thing about Royal is he was originally signed to be the slot WR (With Alshon and White running on the outside). So there may be a chance that they keep Wilson as the WR2 and use Royal in the slot where he is most effective. Obviously there is a big difference between White and Wilson, but Wilson is much better suited to be on the outside due to his length and deep ball ability.

This is speculative, but then the question becomes who has more value? Bears WR2, Vikings WR2 or GB WR 3/4?

No one knows. Fox runs his injury info just like the Pats. When he went on the IR there were a lot of rumors that White would be out the entire year. But the earliest rumor I have heard is 10 - 12 weeks.

Definitely a situation to watch closely. Small WRs Cooks and Snead did well against PHI last week. It could be a big night for OBJ, Harris, and Vereen.

I feel like the assumption running through a lot of these analyses is that the WR3 role in GB has value, but, even leaving aside their recent offensive woes, has that ever been true? IIRC, Jones' last big year was before Cobb really busted out, and for all the hype Adams got last year, his final numbers were nothing special. He had a few decent games, but I'm not sure there was ever a point where you could start him with confidence.

So if we assume there's only one viable WR spot after Cobb, are you really willing to bet that Montgomery will emerge as a WR2 over Jones, Adams and Janis? Also, while I agree with you that the whole Jones thing just seems crazy and unsustainable, there's some ridiculous stat Matthew Berry keeps citing where Jones has like 20 TDs in his last 25 games with Rodgers. At some point, it's time to stop wondering if it's "sustainable" and realize it's already been sustained.

Rodgers also mentioned after last weeks game that the WRs need to do a better job running their routes. IMO all signs are pointing to Adams returning to a prominent role.

No, I wasn't forgetting Nelson. My point was that Adams was WR3 last year, and he wasn't a viable starter. Check out his game log. Even though he basically played all season, his final line was 38/446/3. He only had four games where he recorded more than 2 catches, and his three TDs came in games where he had 1, 2 and 1 catch. So there was never a point where you were rolling him out with any confidence.

Montgomery will be bumped to the no. 4 WR behind Cobb, Adams and Jones. GB offense can sustain 3 fantasy WRs. 4? No.

The fact he was doing special teams work makes him all the more attractive in my opinion.

Normally where there is smoke there is fire, and maybe there are some underlying issues we don't know about.

Tennessee's backfield has been the ultimate fantasy quagmire so far, with Bishop Sankey, Dexter McCluster, and Antonio Andrews all rotating. Cobb is the best interior runner on the roster. With Ellington coming back that was the most expendable person on my roster (I also dropped my backup QB for Buck Allen).

David Johnson is way too valuable to leave on the wire. Even though CJ is the starter, DJ gets the goal line looks and he's a load to take down. I also don't think Ellington's return is a huge hit on DJ's value. Maybe a hit to CJ though. In any case, I'd much rather have DJ than Buck Allen.
