It's being reported by John Czarnecki, who's notoriously hit and miss with his stories, that the Broncos are taking many of Jim Bates' concepts out of the defensive playbook. This isn't the type of story that's debatable, though, so it's probably legit. Unfortunately, it's another sign that beat writers often don't know football. Two weeks to cover this story and they likely had no idea it had happened while they were chasing Javon Walker.

Hard to say. He did practice some on Thursday and Friday. He's a little risky, but the upside is nice without Dansby around.
