Week 7 Venting Thread (1 Viewer)

I may have the winner of the day. CBS has Pats-Fish listed as the one o'clock game today here on COX cable in Virginia Beach. So, what do I have to flip back and forth from the Skins-Cards game? A mother-friggin Swivel Sweeper infomercial.

My opponent's Earnest Graham has outscored my entire team of Roy Williams, Reggie Bush, Matt Stover, and TB defense after the first half.

 
With 46 seconds left in the half, already leading 35-7, Brady made a motion to spike the ball in order to kill the clock. Instead, he faked spiking it and threw it in the endzone. It was a typical, in your face Patriot move. Yes this team is probably better than everyone else but they're also arrogant and classless. They are willing to cheat, they enjoy late hits, they will do whatever it taked to win. I am sick to death of hearing how BB is simply smarter than everyone else and how Tom Brady is God. (It's probably all true, but I'm still sick of it.)

This was a feel good story (I guess) back in 2001, but now the Pats represent everything that's wrong in sports, and my favorite team is whoever is playing them. Come on, Steelers, come on, Colts! Somebody's got to punch these guys in the mouth, right?

Please?

 
Anybody who is proud to be a 49ers fan is simply announcing that he loves inept QBs. Dilfer is simply a d-o-u-c-h-e.

Couldn't agree more - just hoping that karma catches up with them soon...
 
lost both Schaub and Leftwich today (we play two QBs, plus possibly a third in the flex). Warner on my Bench is doing great now!

Add the performance of S Moss and Shockey so far and it has been a lovely first set of games! grrrr

So glad Cleo Lemon has decided to take all the goal line touchdowns from Ronnie Brown. :rolleyes: And starting Kitna over Warner hasn't worked out so well.

venting always helps to motivate sometimes...Shockey TD...now kick it in gear MOSS!
 
Tom Brady and BB you *******! 5 TDs wasn't enough eh? Bring him back in during garbage time and give him 6! 50 pts just from Brady this week. Im gonna need some huge games from people. KJ and Hilliard are keeping me above water.

 
Have LT on a bye this week figure I have no chance in my 16 team league since I'm starting L Evans, I Hilliard, R White, and P Crayton as my WR's. Now I have some football to watch the rest of the weekend! :lmao:

 
having Schaub get hurt, and then watching the numbers Rosenfels puts up in his place, including a 53 yard TD to Davis on my opponents team (TDs over 50 yds are double! grrr)

Having Warner on my Bench was just icing on the Venting cake!

Dropping Pennington for Leftwich did not pan out today either...

every decision that i make on what player to start seems to be the wrong one. I need a FF psychic.

btw, wtf happened to kitna being gold every week. :yucky:

Same here - I had a noon tee time and had to make the decision about 30 minutes before they announced that he would play.So far, since the injury, I've had him benched the first week back (100/TD) and this week (100+/TD):wall:OTOH, it was a really nice fall day to play golf.
 
started Matt Bryant LOL and Bironas breaks all-time NFL record with 8 FGs and scored 26 fantasy points

the patriots represent everything right about sports. (i'm not a patriots fan)if i want "nancy boy, let's protect each other's feelings" football, i'll go watch connecticut HS football. this is the nfl, you put your foot on the gas, and if you can, you dominate. especially in the 1st half. did you want them to take a knee in the 1st half?if i'm not mistaken, the dolphins had a 4th round pick of their own to trade for randy moss and wes welker was on their roster 8 months ago. this whining is just disgusting.
