Not an easy group to separate. I would go:Babineaux

Wesley

Marshall

Couple lineup questions....would love some advice. 1pt for tckl and ast, 5 pts for FF, FR, INT, SCK, 10pts TDDL - we start 3. Currently Im going with Victor, Jared, and Julius. LB - we start 4 - starting Boley, Hayes, DJ, and Urlacher. DB- we start 4 - starting Bethea, Collins, Jones, and Madieu. Thanks in advance. Been a tough year so I appreciate the chance to check my work.
I like your decisions. Not real happy about Boley this week, but I agree he's the best LB4 option you have. I'd like to find a way to get Darrent Williams in that scoring system, but playing for the INT against the Colts is probably pushing it. I'm not convinced he'll get more tackles than the safeties you've decided to play, even against Indy.

The PD stat makes a Philly player at home a must start, even Considine in a part-time role. I'd start Babineaux and Wesley with him unless we hear that Lucas is inactive, in which case I'd put Marshall in the lineup over Wesley. Manuel is interesting, too, but I think I'd rather have Wesley this week.

Chaos Commish and Jene...thanks very much for the advice...Ill watch the pregames and think more on it, but I really appreciate the time.

Good luck today. :)

2) What 4 LB's do you start this week?

Do. Edwards vs STL

Da. Smith @ PHI

B. Urlacher vs SF

E. Henderson vs NE

B. Short vs TB

It's between these five for me. Although the Patriots are a solid matchup, I think I bench Henderson. There's been a disturbing pattern during Minnesota's home games -- stat crews awarding tackles to the wrong player, being more stingy with assists and PD with the home team. That's probably over-analyzing a bit, but I think the other players and matchups are solid enough to sit Henderson and wait until that trend disappears.

This is a very interesting observation. Do NFL stats work similiar to the "official scorer" in baseball with the designated scorer being affiliated with the team? I know I often get confused on how some plays are "scored". GREAT INSIGHT and a thought provoking thought for sure.

DL - I sure understand the tempation to use Edwards if he's starting. I've been on aloha time, so I could have missed it, but I don't see the report in a quick search. Anyway, I start Harris over Adeyanju, personally. Yeah, Smith has only been sacked 13 times, but the interior of that line is NOT that good. Harris off a bye might be due for one of his big weeks. Just my preference here.LB - No change from me.

DB - Darrent Williams is a nice play this week. Manning will attack him, and over again that proves to be a bad idea, but a good IDP play. I'd start Babineaux too. He's takig over a high scoring position, and apparently he's better at playing it. I feel a little vindicated by this, btw. I never liked Boulware as a player, and this is not a surprise. I'd sit Collins and Bethea for those two.
*Neither did I. I'm assuming the speculation is that Udeze's hip injury will keep him out (he didn't practice all week) and since Childress' is being somewhat passive-aggressive with his protests of Belichick's injury reports he's left Udeze as questionable on his.**I'm with you. I liked Hamlin better and wasn't confident there would be a good transition from LB for Boulware. I am a little surprised they made the move with Babineaux though. Looking forward to see how the Seahawks handle the run support role as Hamlin is probably a better in-the-box type than Babineaux.

I don't know about great insight. More like stumbling upon it while we were trying to figure EJ Henderson and the Viking DL back in Week 2. :P Based on observation, the gamebook stat crews look to be stadium specific. redman has kept the observation going, but the Vikings tackle stats are much better (assists and PD in particular) on the road than they've been at home. We'll all get a first hand look on MNF this week. The last Viking home game I watched there were at least 5 tackles mis-credited -- some to players not on the field at all -- and a couple clear PD (dropped INT) and assisted tackles missed. In that game, Henderson should've been a 2-5-0 with a PD at minimum, I think he was an 0-1-0 or some other such craziness.

Need one of the following to go with Little? Scoring: Tkl-2, Asst-1, FF-3, FR/SK/Int-6, PD-2

Davis, Chauncey at Bengals - filling in for Abraham

Howard, Darren vs Jaguars - is groin going to slow him down?

Osi - not playing this week

WW options: Kelly Gregg, Dockett, Darwin Walker, Geathers

Thanks

Guh. Although Willie Anderson has been a little easier to beat than in prior years, he seemed to find his stride against Julius Peppers when matched against him last week so Davis probably isn't a good play. I'm not excited about your waiver options. Howard's groin may flare up mid-game and there always a question about the Eagle rotation, but he's still the best option here. Thanks for re-posting.

This wind at Philly and NY has me worried. L Sheppard at home is usually a solid play, but I may bench him for S Spencer at Chi.... anyone else struggling with line up decisions due to these 50MPH gusts?

Thanks Jene & Chaos Commish for the advice. I thnk I am going to go with Marshall, Wesley, and Babineaux for the week along with my 4th DB who I didn't mention (A. Wilson). I was leaning towards Marshall and Wesley myself so that made it easier. I actually was considering C.C. Brown too. I think he has a decent matchup and should get quite a few tackles. Babineaux scares me a bit because this is his first start. I do like the matchup though with KC and Tony Gonzalez so I am going to take the risk this week. Thanks again guys!

I'm still banking on Sheppard getting two PD just by putting on his uniform today. :P

No, I think he has two PD's when he rolls out of his own bed on a Sunday morning.... it's the numbers after that I'm worried about! :hey:
